Have a great time at the Lodge! Are you doing any kind of trip report? Would love to follow along! WL is on my bucket list if I can ever tear myself away from the Epcot area resorts!

Just got off the phone with reservations. Was told that the boardwalk no longer offers childcare on site. Does anyone know if this is true? My kids always loved the daycare facility at the boardwalk. Is it gone?

I believe that is correct. The WDW website provides the following places as on-site child care:

Children's Activity Centers are located at select Resort hotels.

Locations include:
•Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
•Never Land Club at Disney's Polynesian Resort
•Cub's Den at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
•Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club Resort
•Camp Dolphin at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel

FWIW, Beach Club and Dolphin are both very nearby. Otherwise, if you're planning a dinner at AKL, WL, or Poly, the kids clubs at those resorts are good and convenient for where you are dining.

Ooh. We're eating at FF next week on Thursday. I always get fish, but DD loves steak. I'll share your recommendation. I'm sure your little guy will enjoy the Beach Club kids club.

Also agree the NY strip at FF is easily one of the top steaks on property. Perfectly cooked char from the open flame every time I've had it. Don't worry, their fish dishes are excellent as well!

We shopped at this Target last year in October.

3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd
Kissimmee, FL, 34747-3052
(321) 677-3971

It was so cold the week we were there, we needed a few more long sleeve shirts.

It was a very short drive from the Wilderness Lodge.
