It would be Illuminations at Epcot. According to the WDW website, Illuminations starts at 10PM on July 4th.

I missed the start of this thread as we were at the DLR to try something new. It was also great in its own way.

Our stay will be Oct. 17-21, BWV, 2BR, BW view. DH's 40th celebration.

Funny enough we have to return to MCO the following weekend for a wedding in Daytona Beach. October has turned into a Florida month.

There is a BW view picture somewhere in this thread, I thought. I will die if that is our view....

We are here now and have a village green view. We see a few high fireworks at 9 from Epcot and we can see most of the magic kingdom fireworks at 10. It's nice.

Yeah, this is a terrible picture, but this was Wishes from our deluxe club BW view room in BWI from over the Beach Club. To the person who asked, it's NOT a clear view of the fireworks. If you want to see the July 4th week fireworks, you really should get to one of the monorail hotels or MK itself. But what you can see from the BW is a nice bonus.

Yeah, with a 2 BR BW view, you should have a great view from at least one of the balconies! (Some rooms have joined balconies, others are split.) I love the BW view.

Thanks for all the responses. We will be arriving at about 7:30, so by the time we get to wdw it may be closer to 8:30 or 9 so we aren't planning on going to the parks. We also are traveling with 2 small children who we need to feed dinner when we arrive as well so what we are hoping to catch is just that little glimpse of it only because it is the 4th.

I have requested Village Green for our stay in October - I can't wait! Hope we can see some of the fireworks and some sort of the Boardwalk - but hey - I will be staying at BWV so it will be amazing I have only been to WDW one other time. I stayed at and loved OKW...but have wanted to stay at BWV since that trip in 2011...113 days!!

You might get lucky then. If its for the kids, they may be happy with seeing the Illuminations fireworks as well, which you can see much more easily. This year they're doing the special July 4th fireworks every night from July 1-7 (9pm on July 3&4, 10pm the rest of the week), so you might want to try to get closer to MK on one of the following nights. Enjoy!!

Good Morning!

Back from vacation and very behind in posting to my favorite threads. Thanks again to all who answered questions. I'll be back later to multi-quote, but had to post that 6 weeks from today we'll be pulling up to WL. Made a bit of a change on vacation from a non-CL CR room to a CL WL room (same price). Still wasn't able to book Atrium, but was able to book Old Faithful

Beautiful pic, Kook!!

Here's a question/statement for all you BW veterans....the BWI rooms look a bit more "modern" (if that's the right word) than the villas? I'm referring to the bedspreads/beds. Now I'm second guessing my BWV stay...wondering if I should just do 2 rooms at BWI and not a 2 bedroom villa????? Of course the villas appear to be closer to the infamous clown pool...is that right? With 3 kids that may be a plus. I've always wanted to try an EP resort....I'm a bit of an MK resort snob so now I'm getting cold feet.... any thoughts?

I would not give up the full kitchen and in room laundry, because of the bedding. I am very modern decor person, yet BWV is my home and I love the rooms, regardless of the bedding look.

Heather... We have stayed in a 2 bdrm at BWV and they are beautiful and very spacious. We had 6 people and still had plenty of room. And the laundry in the room like the pp said is a definite plus. The clown pool is on the villa side also.

If we were going to spring for 2 rooms in the Inn, I would just go for the villas. JMHO.
