We scoop up the Mickey Heads at the Till We Meet Again and put them in a clear glass ornament from Michaels. Then we have a reminder of our Cruise on our Christmas Tree.

Also at Animator's you make pictures that they show on the large screens during dinner. They return to you the pictures at the end of the show.

You can get various items autographed through Guest Services. We have a matt that we put a Disney Cruise picture in.

What about the alcoholic drinks and Mickey Head chocolate covered rice krispy treats that they give out at the CC reception?

Those Mickey Heads treats cost about $4 each at the parks.

On certain cruises in the past, you could get some delivered through room service as well. However, I haven't had that luck on our past two cruises.

I think the post was a bit tongue-in-cheek.

Regardless, you could insert the words "a Disney cruise" for "concierge" in the post that started this side-discussion and have it refer to nearly every post in this thread. Nothing on a Disney cruise is "free". I always get a laugh out of it when my kids talk about the "free" food on the cruise. It's really just "no extra cost" over what you already paid.

On speciality cruises, they often give away Ducky Williams lithos as well. In addition, he often sails on those cruises and can sign them.

We've also received other speciality "gifts" on a speciality cruise such as posters and even a porcelain storage container for change, etc. with the dates of our cruise, destination, Disney characters, etc. on it,

The best free thing I ever got was on our first cruise. The twins were 8 yrs old. The look on their faces when they realkzed the ship was moving away from port canaveral.......it was so priceless!!!!!

My favorite free souvenirs are maps. I kind of have a thing about maps, but some of them are truly beautiful works of art. So if you can get a map of any locale you visit, take care of it until you get home and frame it. Then you have artwork for your home and a memory of your trip...all for the price of a frame.

If you do scrapbooking, keep all the cruise related materials they mail you or you pick up onboard. Lots of fun images that can be cut out.

On our Panama Canal cruise the one that brought the Wonder out for the first time we received many freebies. A cute meal wind chime with the characters, a lithograph, and a beautiful embossed game box filled with cards, dice and checkers. The most wonderful free thing I received was a magical certificate just for being nice and carrying on a great relationship in the Treasure Ketch (I spent a lot) but the CM was most fun to work with. And I received a LARGE litho from a CM at GS. All I did was be nice to her too. It's not hard to do when you are having a wonderful time on a once in a lifetime cruise.

Yes they are large confetti. We didn't get them from the ship but did scoop up handfuls of these awesome little heads at Disney World's "till we meet again" parade. Lol we wouldn't let the street sweepers NEAR our area, by the time we left they had nothing to clean up! My mom is HUGE into Scrapbooking and with at least 3 albums to make, we wanted to make sure she had plenty..

I love the Christmas ornament idea though I might have to do that for each of the kids as well that would be awesome.

You can also get the Golden Mickey Heads at the end of the Golden Mickeys Stage Show.
