Only CRT and a few other character meals do this now. I know I can do some other reservations with just a credit card number to hold it but those specifically say my card wont be charged unless i am a no show. Where when I try to reserve CRT it says my card will be charged now the full amount but can be refunded if I cancel before 24 hrs of my reservation. They probably made the change to open up reservations or push the dining plan bc if I had the dining plan my cc would just be in case I was a no show.

Waiting for CP packages to open for booking! Looking for the 5pm show for 12/24. Booked last year on 6/26 - hopefully we will start seeing a narrator list at least partial) soon!

I am trying to do the package with lunch at LeChefs and the early show on Dec 2.
I will probably be in EP more than one night and might try to catch just the show at one of the later times.

It's not really 24 hours to cancel with paying

I went round and round with WDW and finally got a written reply about the charge for a missed ADR that has a credit card guarantee. I have this in a signed e-mail.... "One day is defined as the day before, up to 11:59 pm. Therefore, our Guests have until 11:59 pm the day before their reservation to cancel without a charge." CRT does require 24 hrs; V&A requires 48 hours, but the others are simply by midnight the day before.... an 8:00 am ADR for breakfast on a Monday can be canceled w/o a charge up to 11:59 pm Sunday night.

For those who want more information, I added a couple blog posts to the first post.

Still anxiously waiting for narrators and package info! I will also put it in the first post when released.

Hoping for December 5th. Doesn't matter to me what time we do. I have four or five top choices for restaurants, so hopefully we'll get something!

I don't know how I missed this thread before!! Patiently waiting with the rest of you!

Ideally I'd like my CP package to be on Wednesday December 18th. I do have another few days I could pick from in our week so if I see a narrator on the list that I really want to see I will pick another day. Hopefully the 18th works though.
I don't know if this has been asked before..
I'd like to make a reservation for dinner for all four of us, but my husband doesn't particularly want to go to the show, so can I book all 4 of us for dinner but only pay the package price for myself and the kids, and regular prices for him? I think I read somewhere that could be done. If he doesn't want to go I am more than happy to save the extra money and let him have an evening to wander around on his own and enjoy himself. The kids (9 and 16) and I will probably enjoy it much more than he would.

Not that this is any big news..but just more confirmation. I called last night to see when they would be booking Cali grill for December and the cast member I spoke to said that they were expecting to open booking for Cali Grill and Candlelight Processional very soon! She said within 2 weeks is what she was expecting.

That's great! Thanks for sharing. I was just saying in another thread that tomorrow is my ADR date and I know I'll need to call (Canadian website is awful). Of course this will be as my kids are getting ready for school and my daycare kids are arriving AND its a secret from my kids
So between that and booking the CP soon I see a lot of locking myself in the bathroom to make phone calls in the next little while

No narrator or booking info yet. There is a CP page on the Disney website now though, so hopefully soon. The only thing is the website says that the are 2 shows. I hope they haven't cut one of the shows out - that would make it even harder to get. I know the website is wonky, maybe it is just a typo (I hope).
