POR food court

Here's my thoughts on POR's food court from our visit last week:

Chocolate cake from the bakery is WONDERFULL

Cinnamon rolls looked delicious but were hard on the outside and not real soft in the middle.

Create your own pasta is good but needs less noodles to have enough sauce for the noodles.

Large pepperoni pizza is worth the money, best deal on all of Disney that we found.

Turkey dinner was good according to DH

Ham dinner was okay, didn't care for the glaze.

Mufallatta sandwich had good flavor, homemade chips were okay.

Refillable mugs were a good purchase for us, we utilized them while we were there.

I thought the same about the cinnamon rolls. Carrot cake was also delishious. Walked down every night to get one!

Yeah, agree on the cinnamon rolls. I was disappointed. I didn't like the create your own pasta either, the sauce was not flavorful at all.

My DH and I loved the carving station, although I wasn't too fond of the glaze on the ham. My oldest son liked the make your own pasta station.
My DH tried a cinnamon roll and thought the same thing. He was very disappointed.
POR was my fave food court at a hotel so far out of the ones we have tried.

Stayed at POFQ a couple of weeks ago - wandered over to POR for lunch once - far better than the food court at POFQ and well worth the 10 minutes of walking!

That's going to be a personal-taste thing. I personally LOVED my pasta, and felt there was more than enough sauce.

Magic cookie bars! I love those things.

I like the pasta bar. I get it with alfredo & marinara mixed, so maybe they give me extra sauce when I do that? Shrimp, extra garlic, and a little bit of everything else they have to offer makes a flavorful dish for me.

I really loved the Pasta station when we were there in 2010 so I really hope it is as good as I remembered. More than enough sauce and flavor for me! I enjoyed this foodcourt much more than the one at CBR.

This made me chuckle. I'd vote for more sauce and keep the noodles, that's actually what I did, I just asked for a bit more and they were happy to oblige. I tend to be a sauce hog anyway! I'd eat a bowl of sauce, hold the pasta.

Some of the pastries were a bit "crusty" I think that is from sitting in the heat of the kitchen/lights. I just popped it in the microwave for 10 seconds, softened right up!

To me, the oatmeal is a hidden gem. You can get all kinds of add ins (nuts, fruits, choco chips, etc) and they have a snack and QS size.

sweets

I didn't get to try the majic cookie bars, but did also try the sugar cookie with the mickey sprinkles, yum. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, probably should have heated it up to make it "fresh" and warm tasting.

I didn't know I could ask for more sauce on the noodles, should have done that. Also should have added garlic to the mix, not saying it wasn't good and there was enough for 2 but it just seemed to lack the amount of sauce. Oh well, I know for next time.
