I didnt do my homework, evidently,... because I believe the southern states schools are out too? If anyone is there NOW and could give us a quick update.... we would be very grateful!

Always crowded and hot in summer. Afternoon rains are forecast every day for months at this time of year.

Very hot and very crowded. It was hot at rope drop and just got worse. Large crowds too. Sorry that I couldn't be more optimistic. At least you'll be at Disney!!

Crowds getting progressively worse but you can manage if you plan accordingly (early to park & good fast pass management.). Weather is hot & yes afternoon rain showers tend to be common in Florida in summer. With that said, other than TS Andrea we haven't had much in the way if rain over the past week.

OP, if you aren't leaving for a few weeks plan on the crowd levels being more than they are now. It always gets worse as the summer goes on.

Here in the south almost all schools are out by the end of May unless it is a year round school. And they start back early by the beginning or middle of August.

We are following the easywdw park recommendations and are finding the crowds to be quite manageable. On the other hand, when we go rogue and go against recommendations, we've noticed substantial crowds. Fast passes are saving us as is choosing ride times during parades and other popular shows.
Rain was horrible on Thursday as predicted. Lasted nearly all day but we just splashed through in our ponchos. Haven't seen a drop since. Hats and light, loose clothes make the heat/humidity bareable. Drinking lots of water from our Brita water filter bottles.

It is hot - although we are from Alabama, so the heat doesn't bother us much. As far as crowds- yesterday at MK was really crowded, but today was very manageable. We got to MK about 10 am this morning, and were able to do Splash , Big Thunder, Town Sq princesses, meet Merida, and several other rides. To me, it was noticeably less crowded today, which is probably because Saturday is a crossover day -people checking out/coming in. Get there early, use fastpasses and you'll be good!

This is our first time in summer. It's crowded compared to early November when we usually go. Also it's hot. I don't think we'll ever do summer again.

I know everyone says here that u have to get here at rope drop and they are correct. Do rope drop, have lunch before noon, leave to go back to resort, wait for rain, then head back to a more manageable park in evening.

You just have to sleep in one day to know how unmanageable the parks are.

It will be at least 90 degrees every day. It will also be very humid with a rain shower every afternoon. June is the wettest month for Orlando. Most American schools are out by mid-June through mid-August.

We were at MK yesterday by 9:15 and the morning was great, walked on rides until 11:30. It got hot, and we left about 1:30 to drive back home. Glad we did as the rain hit hard. Crowds were very manageable. Did see a really large South American tour group of over 100. Schools are all out in Florida, and the South. Once the northern schools get out it will be the usual 8 and 9's at every park until August. Use your FP and get there early.
