Yuck yuck yuck summer has arrived here in the "northeast/midwest" (western pa) - sweaty sunny 2.5 mile run/walk this morning plus some pt thursday and yesterday.

6/13: 20 min
6/14: 10 min
6/15: 35 min

545/800 (1000...)

Well another hour at the gym, 3 miles, and LOTS of stretching (I feel pretty good)

August 2008- Contemporary Resort Conceirge Level

Adding 120 minutes since last posting. Gym time, treadmill- increased my time on it again. This has taken me forever! Lot of machine time, and then some regular walking after more treadmill.

Hard to do today but felt stronger as the workout went on. Was tempted to bail after 20 but knowing I took yesterday off and that everyone here is pushing onward I just talked myself onto more 10 minutes at a time. Thanks everyone.

Do you have an area near you that you know is a good place to go but you have just never been there?

When I was looking at the map of the half and full marathon yesterday I noticed the full goes out toward Vancouver Lake and thought I need to go out there and check this area out. Especially since this is where the tri/dualathon is next month. I have lived here 5 years and never ventured that direction and since the 5K for the marathon tomorrow was running where I normally run on the weekend I decided to go explore.

In typical fashion I got lost and ended up at Frenchman's Bar instead but since there is a walking/running/horse-riding trail that runs between the 2 I just started out walking and got there anyway.

I am doing the medical tent tomorrow at the marathon so not sure what exercise I will get in but it promises to be a fun time.
