Main Street Bakery Cinnamon Rolls - can we still get them?

I know the bakery has gone and is about to become Starbucks, but is there anywhere in MK that will still be selling those famous giant Cinnamon Rolls? I know Starring Rolls at Hollywood sell a different version, but they're not as good as the Main Street Bakery ones! It's family tradition to go to MK on our first day and have one for breakfast!!!

They have them at Gaston's, but they don't seem to be quite the same.

We had them at Gastons. I thought they were the same, both my boys said they were different. So now you have to go & see what you think!

Sigh. Ok, one more time.... MSB is not gone. It is not being replaced by a Starbucks. It is being refurbed and when it reopens it will offer Starbucks coffees and some Starbucks bakery items. Since it hasn't re-opened yet no one can tell us whether or not it will continue to offer the cinnamon rolls. Check back in 2-3 weeks. When it does reopen, I'm confident that a Diser will report on the bakery offerings within minutes.

Gaston's has the same rolls, but different icing.

As to whether or not the rolls will come back to Main Street Bakery, we will have to wait and see.

+1. Thank you for doing that so I didn't have to.

I'm curious about the icing difference. My one and only experience trying the cinnamon rolls at MSB left me unimpressed. S'pose, perhaps, I could have gotten a dud. Now, if the Gaston's icing version was cream-cheesier (cheesiest? cream cheesy? ) I could be tempted to put a brief suspension on my cinnamon roll ban.

Sorry, the icing is basically the same, maybe a little more of a maple flavoring, otherwise the roll is the same and *delicious*. You must have gotten a dud, or maybe it could have dried out from sitting awhile because we have eaten them every time we go, which has been many, many times and we have not had any that were not totally *yummy* - droolllllllll

The one at Starring Rolls is no where near the same. It's a regular commercial looking one that in the case when we got it was dried out and tasting like cardboard!! Maybe it wasn't fresh??? Don't know, but will not try again.

Your Starring Rolls cinnamon roll experience sounds exactly like my MSB experience -- 'twas dried out and light on the icing. I kept looking around at the other tables and seeing folks with fluffy, slathered-with-icing rolls and wondering why ours wasn't nearly as enticing. Shame about the cream cheese business, that's my favorite icing by a mile.

We have tried several times and feel the same. We just don't like them

I fear we are one of few. (Seriously, I only know of one other person who said they didn't care for them. )
