Whispring Canyon question

We are eating dinner at WCC next week, there are 8 people on our ADR. Will we all share one huge platter, or will they give us two platters? It is our family of four and another family of four, not that it makes a difference.

I've been there for dinner and they charged us for each person but it all came on one big platter.

We were there last week. They charged us per person, but brought one platter. There were 7 of us and we didn't eat it all. If you get a chance to go to there, ask for Jeff! He is the best server we have ever had! He is very interactive and funny. Our kids loved him.

I wonder if you can ask for 2 platters when you are seated

As nice as it is to eat with friends & family, im not sure id want to share the same platter as them.

I'm sure they must get requests like this all the time.

Well, the point of "family style" service is that the party shares the food around like you would at a dining table at home. But you can certainly ask if they will serve on two platters. The price will be per person, not per platter.

Thank you. I knew the price was per person. We don't mind sharing with thrm, DH and his friend are trying to decide what meats they want, and we didn't know if we'd get one huge platter or two normal sized ones.

If you're the same party you can only pick three meats at a time, but they'll bring different ones if you want when those are finished.

It has been 3 years since we have been to Disney. Whispering Canyon had a regular menu - I gather that has changed? Years ago at breakfast they only served by the platter. Is that what dinner is like now?

Lunch is completely a la carte (no platter), and dinner is platter only except for a separate kids' menu if preferred.
