Best counter service in Animal Kingdom?

Hey, trying to plan our day at Animal Kingdom and figuring out where to have lunch, any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm a fan of Flame Tree Barbeque. You do have to sit outside, but the food is good.

Our favorite is Flame Tree BBQ, but as PP said seating areas are all outdoors. If it is a cooler day or raining, we go to the hamburger place (used to be the McDonalds) near Dinosaur ride. They have lots of indoor seating and we like the toppings bar for the burgers.

I agree with the others - Flame Tree. I had the pulled pork, and it was the best I think I've ever had. My husband got the 1/2 chicken and really enjoyed that, and my daughter the hot dog kids' meal and scarfed it down! I also really liked their dessert - chocolate mousse. It was light and refreshing on a warm day. I will also agree with the others on the seating, it is not ideal. We happened to grab a seat right as a storm was blowing in, and for the most part we stayed pretty dry, but it was windy, and other people trying to find refuge from the storm made it very uncomfortable. But, even in a storm, I would definitely eat there again!

Thank you, I don't really mind about sitting outside.

Wow, it must be good to eat there in a storm! Thanks for the suggestion! Chocolate mousse sounds good, looks like we'll have to eat here!

Pizzafari

We've become fans of Pizzafari. They have really good sandwiches despite the name. The indoor seating areas are very nice too and have great artwork.

oooohh, that sounds good too! My sisters love pizza, the indoor seating area is good, especially in July with all the thunderstorms that happen. Thank you!

Our favorite is the Yak & Yeti counter service place (Anandapur Snacks??). The prices are great and the food is delicious! The chicken fried rice is wonderful and the egg rolls are awesome!

I think this place is one of the best values in all of the parks!

We love Flame Tree and eat there every time we visit AK. We love finding a table in the quieter seating area next to the water feature/pond - it's outside, but can be a peaceful spot to rest and enjoy the BBQ.
