I just checked my post and I spelled it right, which is a very good thing since I am way too old and tired and broke for a new baby!

Lightning bugs - love watching them - they're out in full force here now.
Love going to the Smoky Mtns. in June and seeing the synchronized lightning bugs there at Elkmont Campground. They are so neat in swarms going on and off in unison.

Lightning bugs here in PA...we won't start to see ours for at least another month, but I love catching them with my kids - we already have our bug jars waiting!

Thanks for the laugh! I jokingly meant maybe the BUGS were pregnant, not the posters! I suppose it could be the posters

It's a light-hearted thread, and I don't get the need to point out misspellings - especially when the misspelling is an actual word, too.

LOL, I thought you were trying to offer an excuse for poor spelling -- pregnancy induced exhaustion.

I call them either one. But alas in the part of Ca to which I reside, these critters do not. Fortunately however, when I am able to visit the old bayou and spend time with my good old friend, that loves to sit in his rocking chair, out on his porch, while smokin his corn cob pipe with his Mrs strumin their old banjo, how we all enjoy so much watching all of the colorful fireflies as they seem to dance to the music in the otherwise still darkness of the bayou sky.

Lightning Bugs here in Southern New Jersey. Too early for them here, but they're pretty when they glow.
