Penguin escapes sea worlds new exhibit

I guess sea world didn't think putting low glass was a bad idea but this penguin showed them but after escaping it wanted back in most likely because they was planing on doing it when the park was closed.

Legal disclaimer the planed escape was a joke thankfully the penguin didn't get hurt and the exhibit and sea world take very good care of the animals it was just getting used to the exhibit and mis judge the jump.

The WESH article says:

Quote:
SeaWorld workers quickly surrounded the penguin until a handler could arrive and return it to the water. The aftermath was captured by a guest on video.

The guest said she was concerned about her child's safety.

Ummm...if safety was a concern...maybe she shouldn't have whipped out the phone and videotaped, and gotten her child out of there?

I agree. She was probably just looking for free passes or something. Not sure how anyone would feel threatened by a penguin that was about 2 ft. tall!

according to sea world employees Penguins have jumped out of the new Antarctica exhibit more than once. It's just one breed of penguin and they expect to train them not to it always one bad apple that will lead to them be on lock down.

That what I was thinking to if they don't train Them quickly not to jump over the wall a guest will try to take one or try to pet one and then get bit and get a nice pay day out of doing something stupid. You will just need a lot of ice cubes and ac to keep it happy but now sea world will have to deal with people going their standing their waiting for one to do it and trying to catch it.

I wonder when they do it do they think to them selves dam it I did It again I jumped the wall now where those nice people to put me back into my home.

Sea World also said that because they are getting used to the new environment, sometimes they "mistime" their jumps and end up leaving the enclosure.

I don't think they are giving them enough credit. I think they timed it just right.

I think that sea world built in protection after the first meal they would run back and return it just imagine how much they can eat. It can get expensive plus not every place might carry enough of it.

Penguin poo stinks! After the first deposit, any would-be penguin owners would be taking them right back to Sea World!

Excellent point, David, and it brings up an interesting question. Do Disney people watch Dreamworks films?
