We had a wonderful time, but did have our moments!

Pretty much down to my hips on one side, but nice and perky on the other

I think you might be surprised at some of the people who are on the sex offenders registry.

I know one. He was a good friend, had a job with a brokerage firm in NYC, was an usher at mass and the father of a boy who is now 13. My kids called him "Uncle Bob." I can't tell you the number of times my kids were in their house.

About a year after he and his family moved cross country, his teenage niece flew in for a visit. And woke up one night to find Uncle Bob's hand in her pants.

As far as kids are concerned--and adults too-- EVERYONE needs "that level of checking." After all, we all urge our kids to find a CM if they ever get lost. We place our trust in those CMs, and 99.999% of them deserve it, and go above and beyond for our kids. But we, and Disney, still need to be on guard against that 0.001% who might do our kids harm.

this is not someone surfing the net or planning a vacation on company time. This sicko was dealing in illegal and totally horrific child abuse.

The fact we have at least this one child porno guy shows they are being successful! I am sure the rest of the good CM's at Disney are happy this guy is gone!

Yes, IF he is guilty of course we're all glad that he has been caught....and maybe I've just been out of the corporate world too long, but taking a screen shot of the computer screen every 3 SECONDS? When you think of the number of employees just at Disney alone, that would require thousands of employees just to monitor other employees. Seems a bit obsessive....and considering how many of these disgusting types are out there for years before they get caught, also doesn't seem very effective.

He was caught with the filth on his company computer, looking at it...........give him his trial...........fine............but if they only get 1 at a time by monitoring the company owned computers/systems it shows its needed!

Frankly this is legal, the employees know they do it, you have no logical reason to disagree. It NOT obsessive at all, The children come first.

I don't see how you could even suggest that monitoring be stopped because YOU feel its infective, even thought is has proved it works.

Will the arguing continue in this thread as long as it did on the "Sex offenders banned from WDW" thread? I hope not.

Yes, sometimes people are found innocent after a charge was placed and that's sad and wrong. But that isn't what happened here......

Not weird at all. Their computers, they have a right to monitor them.

I work at a psychiatric hospital. Every year on our hire date we have a bunch of computer courses that we are required to take that basically are just reminder courses to make sure our knowledge and skills are kept up to date. We also have an all day PMAB class and the nurses have an all day medical skills class that we have to attend. If we don't get them all done by the end of our hire date month we get written up. One of the computer courses is titled Computer Useage. It basically reminds us what we can and can not use hospital computers for (we are allowed to use them for limited private use--can send private emails or plan vacations, for example, but may not use them to play games, shop on ebay, or enter sweepstakes). One of the questions that's always on the test at the end of that particular course is that we have no right to privacy, that the computers are checked randomly, and if we are caught going anywhere we are not supposed to, it is grounds for immediate dismissal without any recourse. Another question that is always in that course is that we are not allowed to check any part of a patient's record that we don't have reason to be in that part of their chart and if we are caught in a patient's chart when we don't have a reason to be in there, we will be immediately dismissed. Only the nurses and doctors have internet access and if we are caught letting anyone else use our internet, we may be dismissed. In fact, there are several RNs that have lost their internet access, because they let one of their mental health workers use it. The mental health workers didn't go anywhere bad, they just weren't supposed to be on the nurse's internet. It is stressed during new employee orientation exactly what we can do on the internet and that if we are caught violating the hospital's policy, no second chances will be given. We are told straight up that they monitor our computer useage closely and we'd better be careful where we go.
