Remember that photo of the snow, yea it melted the night before and the road weren't in the best shape. I got in at 6. Not too bad until I saw the line at security! Whole line batman... I flew out of terminal 2, normally its in and out. Not today. The line was crazy long and I had to check a bag. I got behind the family that left their brains at home. I was a good girl cuz I was going to the happiest place on earth!.

Thanks for sending that sun ahead! We really appreciated it!

But soon I was on the plane, watching more snow fall. Didn't matter to me. As a high school friend and another DISer gave me the idea of bring along alcohol.

Life was good. The flight was uneventful, especially after 3 of these. hahaha. I paid for inflight wifi so I was texting with the girls so I could hear about all the fun that was going on.

I have yet to fly on a plane that offers that-

I landed and soon was on the ME. I knew the girls were in Epcot so I was headed to AKL to drop my stuff off. I was met right away and wisked up stairs to check in. Hello they met we with this

I knew it was going to be a great day!
I remember when you texted us- what a GREAT welcome home! I love AKV Concierge!

Ellen, great pix of OKW. I have never really considered staying there, but I love how spread out everything is and your picture made it look so pretty. Might have to try it sometime. Loved the pictures of baby Reid and glad you were able to find the silver lining in the camera incident.

It is very nice- and the rooms are HUGE! I think the CMs are excellent there, too- maybe because there are so many repeat visitors? I know a ton of families who bought DVC when it was only OKW- and they prefer staying at their home over all the other resorts. It is a warm and welcoming place, for sure-

Drea - loved the sandwich pictures and glad E go to join you for a pix. Love your go with the flow attitude.

Laura - Great way to travel (and arrive). I probably would have needed a nap by then.

Keep the updates coming ladies. I need to live vicariously through you until October.
We will do our best! I will try to update between tonight and tomorrow to get back on track- just too busy lately, KWIM?

YUM its a lil more pricey and everything is ala cart but its SO worth it. Ive heard Hofbrauhaus is good.. both for the entertainment and food. (good lunch place im told) Everytime we go we end up doing something different but they its a German place, they have beer drinking contest and girls competing to carry the most beer steins. (i really need to hit this place up in Nov LOL). In the Paris, they have a crepe maker nothing fancy just another fun place. Diablos cantina at the Monte Carlo has all you can drink for $20 from 9-12 (I believe is beer only though?). I only do buffets for breakfast. so far my fav is still at the RIO, biggest spread and TONS of seafood. Burger Bar at the Mandalay Bay or is it the Winn.. one of those, DELISH! When you get to your hotel most will have a entertainment type book... they usually have coupons or freebies to eat at their hotel.. check it out may be worth it! Oh and if your looking to drink cheap.. sit at a slot machine.. and play, for free drinks just tipe your waitress... *tip when she drops off your drink ask for another cuz they take FOREVER to come back around, unless you play they tables they are quick (cuz your spending more money LOL)in case ya didnt know this lol.

Thanks I will be with 8 Dev. Disabled so a drinking party is OUT We will have to eat on the Strip as will not have a vehicle . I saw there is a MacDonalds in or near Harrah's which I now know is where we are staying . So that may be a good breakfast option as we will not be travelling far for that meal.. These guys love to eat. I see lots of buffets and I am sure we will try a few . I also have learned of LOTS of Free stuff to see at different hotels , and Harrah's has a Free Show BIG ELVIS!!!!
Thanks for your in put !!

Ok- I'm back for an update! Only one more baseball trip (this weekend with Tyler to Connecticut) and then I will be able to focus better! But here is something to keep you amused in the meantime (really all I am doing is avoiding weeding my overgrown and neglected garden)...

After leaving the cutest littlest mousketeer, I headed to the boat to DHS....

See you in December, Stormalong Bay....

I texted drea as soon as I arrived, and she said she was on line for Woody and Buzz- so I hightailed it over there, hoping that I might be able to get in line with her, too- The Cms told me to just wait at the exit, and I could go in when I saw it was her turn.

Next, we made a beeline for

We grabbed FPs and got right on the single rider line.

But don't sing any songs about it-

Because with all the big school groups in the standby line, there was no need for any single riders- we actually never made it past the 1st CM, and we waited a while, and would have been next. But we weren't goin anywhere on that line.

So....we did the next best thing- we went to have some lunch.

I had been DYING to try a certain hot dog for a looooong time- it's at Fairfax Faire. So that's where we went....

We did get one of each, and decided to split them. We also got

It all looked like this-

And Drea looked like this-

OK- so we started by sharing the bbq pork/cole slaw dog. It was good, but it wasn't what I was so excited about. The one I was DYING for? The world's BEST hot dog- the one that makes me salivate as I am typing right now- with mac & cheese, bacon bits, and truffle oil.

O.M.G.

It was BEYOND amazing!! SOOOOOO delicious!!! I really need to go back and have it again!! And again!!

Then we split the cupcake-

And it was just Meh- I wish I would have saved up the calories and had the peanut butter chocolate one at Starring Rolls instead. Next time......

We thought it would be a good idea after that to hit Star tours. Especially because it was a walk on, pretty much.

We asked if we could be in the front- because every time I have been on this ride, I have been in the back row- Drea, too! What up with THAT??? So feeling VERY special, we took our seats in the FRONT ROW!!!Here's Drea feeling very excited about her trip to Endor-

Afterwards, I think we used our FPs on RnRC? And tried to hit ToT- but even though they were posting 20 minutes stand-by, the line was OUT THE BEGINNING ENTRANCE! That ain't no 20 minute wait, my friend. Drea has a theory about it- and I think she's right. Anyway, those school groups aof 200 teens getting on rides together was REALLY putting a damper on our ability to ride....only one solution for that-

Time to head to EPCOT! We have some other friends to meet up with and we are going to do some activities those pesky school groups won't be a part of.

Bye bye star studded car-

And DHS and all the school groups- YUCK!

Time for a boat ride...

And we got off here-

And walked by here-

All to get to THIS-

A GUARANTEED school group-less, no teen activity. GENIUS!!

Up next....

And then there were 4...and MORE!

LOL- Depends what your idea of great is- I rode 10 miles on my bike this morning and then weeded my overgrown garden for 4 hours. My back is KILLING me.... I didn't do any weeding in June due to Cicada Invasion 2013, and I paid the price IN FULL today, lol-

But thanks, and happy 4th to you too!

Well, I guess if you can't be a single rider, you might as well have lunch! It's great when you can just be all about doing what works and just enjoy being there.
