We were high school sweethearts (met in 1974). I knew within 3 months he was the one. We did break up and get back together several times. It just felt right when we were together. Just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary last week.

I knew when he sent me flowers everyday until I agreed to 1 dinner. At dinner he ate each item one at a time until that item was gone. I am the same way so it must be fate.

After a few months of dating I broke up with him...it was Christmas Eve. He said, " that's fine but we will get back together and quite frankly don't be surprised if we get married!" What!!!! I thought what a *******; whatever! He stopped by two months later with a plate I left at his house and we have been married 18 years!

We got engaged 7 weeks after our first date, so I picked the first choice.

We had been dating just over 3 months and went to the beach together for a week with mutual friends. We had 2 minor disagreements while there but a decent time. After spending a week together, I was not totally sick of him. I knew then that he had some potential. It'll be 16 years on Friday.

I guestimated. It's either 6-12 months or 1-5 years. DH and I were also high school sweethearts in 1987. We dated, but falling in love with him was gradual and over time.

By the way, in the 27 years that we've been together, we have never broken up. We will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary on Thursday

We both knew within three months (I don't remember exactly how long) that the other was The One. It ended up taking us seven years (and a short break) to get married (for about a million different reasons) but from the moment I first knew, there was never a doubt in my mind that it would happen. We'll be celebrating our first anniversary (in WDW!!) on Sept 27.
