Welcome back Kook! Nothing like a morning of multi-quoting to remind you of the lodge. Thanks again for all the great info.

There may also be some unique items at WCC (like bottomless milkshakes, although I don't know if the shakes themselves are unique to that location, but the deal is).

Artist Point probably has some of it's own unique dishes. I recall the salmon being something they are known for.
Also the Berry cobbler

I'd be all over a s'mores cupcake! LOL

Definitely need to lose those last stubborn 6 lb before November--because I'll probably put them all back on!

We are going to have a very stressful December (long story) so I find myself feeling sort of teary at the idea of our January trip this year.
Congrats on the discount and on booking WL CL . We've never stayed CL at AKL, but WL CL is amazing.....you're going to love it .

guess I need to start looking at dining options there!
Glad DD is excited about the WL .

Yes, we're going Christmas Week.
Glad you have another trip to look forward to . LOL on no Indian attacks ....but I didn't do much as others on here offered a lot more help than I could .

What are your dates in December? Not sure how long your trip is, but we will be at the CR 12/17-12/19; then we are cruising 12/19-12/22; then we'll be at the Poly 12/22-12/24.

It's really good. My husband is not a fan of dessert but even he loves it.

The berry cobbler is one of the main reasons we chose CL and the free beverages, of course. I am so in Disney mode right now, 16 days and counting. All of our group has been approved for time off from work, our van has has her tune up and whatnot, so there should be no more glitches, LETS HOPE. I have NO time for anything else to go wrong.

I have a hubby free weekend, this weekend, at least during the day, so that helps, even if it just mentally helps. I need to break in my new tennis shoes and put small items all together in one place.

Ok, so I have too much time between now and getting to go to Disney, so I decided to play with an updated WL room location map.

I color coded the rooms based on the view category information on the original map.

I have the file so I can make changes as suggested. What do you all think?

That room category info is great! We have never stayed at WL before and I am trying to decide what request to put on my reservation. We have booked WV room and would like to have a room that opens onto the lobby area. Why are rooms on the 4th floor villas side standard? Are the rooms on the 6th floor that look into the lobby the ones with the solid balcony? I don't really want a solid balcony so I thought I might request floor 5, overlooking lobby. Would that get me a regular balcony? Thanks for the help! We will be there Christmas Week

All of the rooms on the 7th floor are CL, along with all of the deluxe rooms. There is a CL room map linked on the first page of the thread.

The 4th floor rooms that open to the lobby on the South side are just above the hallway that leads to the bus stop and the Villas, so the view is just roof. The higher floors see more trees beyond the roofline. We had a sixth floor room here last time and loved it. It had an open balcony, since usually the solid balconies are on the top floor, and in the lobby area the CL 7th floor rooms are the top floor. I believe all 5th floor rooms wil have open balconies as well. Happy planning and enjoy your trip.

Thank you so much for the map!!!

Crazy question, someone mentioned requesting a room that overlooks the lobby ??? Do they mean that when exiting the room they are directly in the lobby, and they have a balcony that overlooks outside?

Sorry, haven't stayed there yet and am kind if lost!!!
