So we just booked last weekend to go back "home" to the CL to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We are going for a long weekend Jan 31 - Feb 5. We will also celebrate our dd birthday early.

This will be a surprise trip for her. I already started the motions and told her that "daddy might have to travel for work purpose in Jan or Feb."

I don't know what I am more excited about, celebrating our anniversary, going back "home" or surprise our daughter finally.

I too was tempted by GFV. The thought of being in the monorail line and in a new villa was nice. But the comfort of WL won out for us. My kids really wanted to be back at the lodge. They like staying at the same place. It used to be CSR for us but then we tried VWL.
Thanks! We have stayed at the WL before and feel so at home there. We just wanted more space for this trip and more privacy for the others in our group. Guess what?? I was getting such strong WL vibes today that I decided on a whim to call and see if I could modify our res to a 2 BR. Yes!! We are in. Now I just have to hope that the stars align and the 3rd time truly is the charm.

Does anyone remember if there was a Photopass photographer stationed in the WL lobby last year for the holidays? Any rumors if there will be one this year? Hoping to get a good family pic for our Christmas card.

We will be heading back to Disney in just 38 days and we are so excited. We are a family of 6 and booked a deluxe room at WL. We have stayed at WL once before but excited to be there at Christmas time. Our previous 2 trips have been in 2 connecting rooms at the Poly and at the BW we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. My concerns are that the room may be small for us and I don't want to pay that kind of money without a good view. For those who have stayed in the deluxe rooms, do I have anything to worry about? Thanks in advance.

There is a lot of information about the deluxe rooms on post #4 on the first page of this thread. Here is the link:

I've never been in one but they look very nice.

Would anyone happen to know if it is also the Cuisanart coffee pods in the studios? We drink quite a bit of coffee, especially when burning the candle at both ends on a Disney trip.
If anyone knows where I could order some to bring with me that would fit the coffee maker I'd appreciate it.

The studios usually have four-cup coffee makers.
