Both Allie and I showed our favorite resort in our choice of attire. I think Mommy needs a WL shirt too.
What a cute pic.....love the dress. Your daughter is adorable .

Looking forward to our 6:00 Artist Point reservation on Monday. We have never eaten there and hoping for a romantic dinner.

I don't know what I would do what disboards and everybody that's on it!
Have a great trip . You will love Artist Point.....it's one of our favorites .

Hi KOOK . I like your technique for getting DH and DD up and going .

It works well when it's still dark out and if they're already up, well, you might as well get driving to WDW!

Time to work on my TR

Mug Update: Roaring Fork now has the new RFID mugs. They have orange, green, or purple lids. The fill machines aren't requiring RFID yet, but it is close.

Yes it is just 56 Days and yet I was over checking availability for our dates at WL but when I mentioned it to Bob he said he doesn't want to switch I was really surprised since WL use to be his favorite so I guess We will be staying put at least for now.

I am never far from this thread I just lurk a lot

I love your pictures! My dad and I are booked for a standard room in November and I am very excited for my very first deluxe resort and for my dad's first trip. Your standard view gives me hope that I won't be looking at a loading dock. I requested high floor, but should I specifically say "5th floor" to guaranty an open balcony? Also, I love the look of the rooms that are open to the lobby, but I am a little afraid of the noise. Is it pretty quiet on the higher floors?

One week till we arrive at WL for our first CL stay!! We are SO excited! One question, DH loves to stay in the lobby (when you walk out of room you are looking into lobby.) is that possible at CL? I need to make my room requests ASAP. I keep forgetting!

Those mugs just appeared overnight, didn't they.

Thanks for the mug update. It is good to know that the WL is trying to catch up with the other resorts. I'm hoping for Magic Bands and FP+'s to be available for our trip.

I've never stayed CL but I do know that the club level lounge has seating areas that overlook the lobby. If you look at this picture that GrandCalifornian posted, the top floor is the club level floor. I've seen people sitting here with their morning coffee. It looked very relaxing.

7 days more days until I arrive for my solo trip to WL. I'm so excited I could explode! Now if I could just get more than my AP, MDE voucher and Halloween party ticket packed. I hope my co-workers can put up with me this week.

You will love WL CL. The food offerings are great, the atmosphere is nice, and the CL CMs are amazing . As the pp posted, the lounge seating is arranged around the railing overlooking the lobby, but I don't believe there are any rooms that open up directly overlooking the lobby like on other floors.

As the PP's have mentioned, the lounge itself overlooks the lobby and is absolutely gorgeous.

The only rooms on CL that come close to overlooking the lobby are the honeymoon suites, which are situated on either side of the lobby.

GrandCalifornian your pictures are awesome. I love the WL soooooo much!!

According to the room location map, all of the Standard View rooms are in locations that have open balconies, except some of the rooms on the 4th floor, South Wing that open to the lobby. These rooms have mainly a roof view, as they are directly below where our room is now. The section of Standard view rooms in the North wing has CL rooms above it, so the balconies on the 6th floor are open. It never hurts to request an open balcony if that's what you want, because if they upgrade you they will still try to meet your request.

We really don't mind the noise in this location, but WCC isn't often full when we are here in September. We can on occasion hear something from the lobby with the door closed, but it is rare. If having it quiet in the early evenings is important, a wing location might be better.
