Quick question... Can someone tell me the approximate difference in price per night between a Woods View room and a bunk bed room?

A WVB is about $30 - $40 more (rack rate) per night Vs. a non-bunk WV.

That is so sweet! You must have a lot of mixed emotions right now and so must DD, but I still want to congratulate you on getting DD off to college. I will be in your shoes in 3 years. Happy booking!

Are you meeting over at CSR?

Just adding that there are about 6-8 CL bunks, but I don't know if there are bunks that connect to other bunks.

Hello all! We just arrived today at WL CL and got both of our requests -- inner courtyard and bunk bed. We went to MK right after check-in so we haven't experienced much here yet, but we will be heading to the lounge shortly for some appetizers. As far as the closed panel balcony, we actually really like it! It's very cozy and fits the theme of the resort. My kids are older now, so I don't have to worry too much about them trying to see over the panels. Let me see if I can remember how to post a picture (I had a crash course last month when we stayed at Poly over the 4th of July when I wanted to post a live picture of the crowds of people there to watch wishes!). So here's one of my DD's taking a look at our view:

And here is a picture of our view if we look to our left:

I'll be back to fix this if it didn't work.

I love this view. It looks like you are having a very rainy day You have a perfect view of the Trout Bar with absolutely no one there. It must be raining really hard.

Thanks for posting your thoughts and pics about the CL balcony/view. We are still considering CL for our upcoming trip, but one of my hang ups is the enclosed balcony/club level views. Glad to hear you are enjoying it. Have a great trip!

We were at MK this afternoon and the sky was super dark but the heavy rain never came down. On our boat ride back to WL, the water was quite choppy and there was some thunder and lightening, but again we missed any heavy rain, just some sprinkles. We got up to our room around 4:00ish so I'm not really sure what it has done since then. Yes -- it really is a great view. We look forward to watching the water parade tonight.

Well the closed panel balcony is definitely different from what we are used to, but it does seem to fit the rustic/cozy feel here at WL. If my kids were younger, though, I don't think I'd like it as much because I'd be nervous about them trying to see over the panels.

WL experts: is there any place at the resort to watch a college football game besides the room? Per my DH I am ruining his beloved Tide game.

YAY you're there! So glad you got your request fulfilled. The WL Room Assignors are great. Lucky you (and kids) that you were at the Poly just last month. Did you have a balcony there? If it isn't too stormy later, enjoy the EWP. Sometimes it's canceled if there's a thunderstorm, but the afternoon storm usually passes through quickly.

The Territory Lounge has TVs. It's located between WCC and AP. If he's really desperate or you want him to do a few loads, there's a TV/remote in the laundry room across from RF

He might be able to catch the game at the ESPN Club over at the Boardwalk.

Ha! Him...laundry! LOL!
Good to know about Territory Lounge. 9/14 is our arrival day and THE game- Alabama vs. Texas A&M. Don't know if we'll venture to the parks since his parents are arriving later in the afternoon (during gametime).
Otherwise, we'll take Wood Nymph's suggestion of ESPN club.

At Poly we requested a 3rd floor room (we stayed In Hawaii CL with TPV), but we were assigned a patio room. At first I was disappointed but we ended up absolutely loving the room. We stayed Poly CL in the past and thought it was just ok. But last month it was outstanding -- I think it was due to the TPV and also the newly refurbished rooms. Having said that, I can honestly say that the CM's here at WL are way friendlier and more helpful than any CL staff we have encountered. And the food offerings are more plentiful, which really surprised me. Speaking of food, guess what time it is now....

I'll admit, I'm not even upset about the FP+. FP are not a huge deal to me. I just want the convenience of not having to dig in a bag for my KTTW card multiple times per day.

I'm also starting to wonder if the stand-by lines might start getting shorter and shorter given the number of FP+ users there will be. I'm not opposed to waiting 30 minutes in a stand-by line for a ride with an interesting queue. Gives us a breather and time to talk and plan our next move. We're a rope drop til close family, so speed is not an issue for us. Fun is.

No. I believe she is staying at OKW. We have not worked out the details yet but my guess will be Dec. 3rd. She has tickets to MVMCP and I think is planning the day at the MK. I have our tickets for MVMCP for the same day and all my plans revolve around the MK for that day as well.
