Do you think it would be a bad idea to eat here twice in one day or should I take my chances with making it to rope drop? I'm trying to decide which breakfast to cancel and which one to keep. I think I have put more planning into this trip than I did my own wedding
I agree with what the pp's have said. I think if you want to make rope drop at MK, cancel that mornings Ohana reservation. If it were me, I would feel way too rushed, but then again I'm not a morning person, lol. What about rope drop and then breakfast at CP? I know I'm probably in the minority on this, but I don't like to eat at the same place more than once on a trip. Although, as mentioned before, Ohana's breakfast and dinner are two very different experiences.

As far as I know, those calendars are only released a day or so in advance. Many of the activities go on all year round, though. I'm sure that a more experienced WL person could tell you more.

Thanks for confirming That stinks though! We also love the Affection Section, but I thought it would be a nice excuse to visit the Fort. We're not huge horse people. Love the darling goats and sheep at the AS though!

Congrats, dancing with you. We started the double digit dance yesterday. We are going to be at the lodge Nov.29 - Dec.5th. We need to take a few moments to meet up and put a face to the name.

We'll be arriving at WL CL tomorrow. I had a little glitch over the last few days communicating with IPO, though. I sent an email to IPO stating my approximate arrival time via ME and basically just touching base and reiterating my room requests to be sure they are on file. IPO replied with a "thank you" email and also stating they have my arrival date as a different day so they advised me to call Disney Reservations to verify. I immediately checked "My Disney Experience" online and my dates were correct. So I blocked and copied the info and pasted it into a reply email to IPO. They replied that I still needed to call Disney Reservations to be sure because they had a different arrival date for me. I wasn't thrilled as I really wasn't in a great position to make that phone call. Long story short, the Dis Res CM told me everything is correct in the system and IPO should have had the ability to look up my reservation and/or call Dis Res to verify correct dates . Anyway, since I was on a roll making calls, I then called IPO rather than email. IPO told me the "wrong" date is in their header and when she called up my reservation everything was correct. I don't understand why IPO didn't do that in the first place instead of exchanging emails with me telling ME to call Disney to double-check my dates! Anyway, all appears ok now fingers crossed. I'll post tomorrow and let you know if we got a room or not lol. I requested inner courtyard bunkbed.

I saw your double digit dance yesterday and knew I would be joining you today.

That would be fun to "bump" into each other. We'll have to plan something just before we leave. I'm also going to be on the look out for a cute little girl wearing an animal print dress so I can say hi to her family.

Thanks, Ocalla. We booked this trip on a bounce back during our Feb trip, so it has been and will continue to be a long wait. At least it is fun to spend it here.

Our Lodgekeeper, who is GREAT, even asked us why we like the room. She thinks it's meh and many others would, but the view is amazing and there isn't a connecting door or any other rooms down there other than the Pres. Suite. It does have elevator noise issues though, but I guess they aren't as bad as Randy's office.

Everyone, even CL get the same pre-set requests. Other than the credit card, I really don't know what the point is of OCI. Couldn't the CMs just prepare everyone's packets ahead of arrival and then designate a credit card and list any requests when the reservation is made like many do anyway? I'm surprised they still even offer OCI. It's more work for the Room Assignors who end up with a long list of both OCI and called-in requests that often contradict each other.

Anybody else? I've seen this question pop up on the boards a few times in years past and we still don,t have an answer. I even wrote in to Disney and they could not locate it.
I posted a reply yesterday to GrandCalifornian to what DD and I thought was closest to the bus track.

Best I can do is post the December 2010 holiday activity flyer. The 2013 calendar won't be released until December.

You're right, the calendars are released and/or distributed to guests the first of the month.

That is very frustrating and you should not have had to go to all that trouble. I've noticed and some others have, too that the IPOs can be less than stellar at all the CLs. Some seem to offer "form letter" responses that don't necessarily even fit what you've asked about. My last interaction with the IPO I got an ALOHA greeting and a HAPPY TRAILS all in the same email.

When you check-in tomorrow, ask if you were able to get your request. If not, maybe your request will be available soon and you could switch. I hope you get your bunk in with an Inner CV!
