I love that view!! Is that the inner courtyard view? I can't wait to try this resort out next year, and I haven't even gone on this years trip yet, LOL.

Yes, that beautiful pic is an inner courtyard view from the South wing, most likely from the 7th (CL) floor. Thanks for the photo, Kook. 15 days and counting...

This is kind of WL related, but also slightly OT. I finished a dress for my DD to wear at the lodge (when we arrive in just 99 days!!). When I saw the one that GrandCalifornian made for her DD, I knew I had to find the fabric. I ended up buying the same fabric but in a different color. This is the result (ignore the hair - it hasn't been brushed yet):

OMGosh was she excited. She looked at it in awe, gave it a pretend hug, blew it a kiss and then Daddy cut off his lead, them the ears, then the face, then...... she screamed and sobbed and we looked at each other thinking, "Oh..... Shoooooot! Now what?!?!"

Then a sweet 6 year old girl came up to her and said what I don't remember; probably something like, "Don't worry, Mickey MADE the waffle for u do it is okay to eat it!" Dad did try to 'glue' Mickey or get her a new one but she was too smart for that.

Now it's hysterical. Then not so much.
Awww, I can just imagine, how sweet of the little girl to try and help

Jeanette, it'll be a record if you don't change in the next 361 minutes
48 hours and I haven't wavered I'd love to add on some days but I know we are going to the beach and US/IoA so I am trying to be somewhat budget conscious

You mean when you take that first bite and Mikey's ear disappears?!?!?!!!

We resorted to sneeking one when she was sleeping in the stroller or at the resort!

Just booked the first leg of our flight!!! Seems more real now

If it's not too much trouble, can I be added to the "future guest" list on the first page?

My dates are 2/27 - 3/5.

TIA

I sure hope we get a view similar to that, that's what I requested. I can hardly wait, we leave next Thursday night after DH gets home from work.

You will love it!! It's always fun to think ahead, especially when you already know which resort you want to stay at next .

Congrats!! I love getting airfare, even if it is just one way . I've had our flight down for some time now, just waiting (hoping) for the return to come down so I can purchase that .

It looks great! Very nice. Having projects like that helps the time go by a little quicker, and makes the trip even more special. Congrats on the double digits too!

Can anyone confirm the animals at the Fort Wilderness petting zoo? Seems like it could be a relaxing afternoon break activity!

Only 11 more sleeps until our first stay at the lodge!!!

The dress is adorable. We check into the WL in 100 days . If we see a cute little girl in this dress we will know that it is your daughter.

PS - You did a great job with the dress.
