$80 seems like a lot for what they have, but I've never actually been. It's more than half the cost of the basic PftS ticket, do they have more than half of the food and wine that is offered at PftS?

We accidentally stumbled upon the PftS 6 or 7 years ago (we hadn't heard of it), and now we do it every year. Have tried both basic and Wine View seating, this will be our first year with Reserved seating. It was sold out immediately last year!

For me the event was not worth the $80 Swan/Dolphin wants but here is another view.

I have never seen the menus published in advance, but they do list every food item on the menus you get at the event. The variety is so great, you should not have a problem with those allergies.

One year the menus were themed, and they published the basic major food themes, but as far as I remember, they only did that once. Two or three years ago, maybe.

Ah, you were asking about the festival, not PftS. They do have the menu published, but not all the ingredients. Many places keep those secret, unless you buy the cookbook. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask a CM too.

You can ask at the kiosks about the ingredients. But you will not find complete ingredient lists ahead of time.

I'd suggest that calling WDW-DINE would be a waste of your time. They know next to nothing about such things and you would not want them to make up an answer for you. You could try Disney Special Diets, don't know how much help they would be with the festival.

They will not be able to prepare anything special or avoid cross-contamination. So you may end up sticking with items that do not contain the allergens at all.

If you ask at the kiosks they have ingredient listings for allergies. I have seen them pull out the lusts for guests

Interesting, you are a combo of mE and my DBF
He is allergic to Shellfish
I am allergic to Mushrooms.

We plan to just ask at most of the booths.

Our game plan is to share a lot so that we can experience more booths but there will be some things we can't share.

“Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce"

I Guess I will have to console myself with Shrimp Ceviche and the Lobster and Seafood Fisherman’s Pie

Getting hungry now.

The Swolphin thing should offer about 17 bites over 11 stations. It's a reduction from last year, when Todd English and Michael Mina were there and had their own stations, for the same cost. It felt like there were a lot more drink samples than at PftS.

I don't think either of these events are a no-brainer great deal: $85pp for the FWC is an acceptable replacement for a decent sit-down dinner, but we don't get twice as much enjoyment out of PftS.

A lot of times, the sauces or toppings are separate from the meat and can be easily left off..
