I don't want to go all kumbaya...but I it would be great if we could be friendly neighbors to one another.
Huge part of the fun about General Admission is that you do get to meet other people. It's all part of the experience!

Will never forget my first (and unfortunately, only) taste of Sam Adams Utopia at PFTS in 2004. It was amazing. I get nostalgic just thinking of it.

From my review: (http://allears.net/tp/ep/fw04_ps3.htm)

Two other treats were the Samuel Adams Utopia, which is a 25% alcohol (that's right - 50 proof) beer from Sam Adams that is very, very tasty and warming! I also tried the Remy Martin VSOP, which was a perfect evening ender to go along with my coffee and desserts.

I think Disney should book Food & Wine events just like every other reservation, set a number of days from event that you can call, 90 days, 30 days, whatever.. This will prevent everyone from calling on the same day. Just a thought.

Seen my share of "that's MY table" on the high tops. I think it got worse last year with the new seating configuration. Try in the area that everybody waits before GA is let in...once they're gone, they put high tops in there, too.
In 2011 DH and I had a high top table that at least one of us stayed at through the night. Of course we let people join us....in fact we shared the table for about 15 minutes with the lead singer of Night Ranger and one of his bandmates.

We have learned to arrive about 10 minutes late, avoid the stampede, and then go all way to the back of the room and find a high top to use as our base point for the evening. We have not had an issue with this strategy yet.

I'm not a big fan of cocktail parties, which is why I avoid events like this (PFTS). Parisian breakfasts on the other hand........

ETA: I'm actually impressed that MDE got everything I booked by phone linked correctly. Must be on the phone number since that's all they have to link on. It's actually starting to work like it's supposed to work. A little at least..........

I agree. I was too impressed that my reservations showed up immediately on MDE. But as you say it sort of works....I still have an ADR that no matter how many times I link it and it tells me it is already linked but it still never shows up in my itinerary. Happened to someone else I know as well.

2 of my events show up weird in MDE but I have my confirmation numbers and charges on my credit card so I'm not too worried

Really wanted to book this event but it looks like a continental breakfast with unlimited disney coffee for like 40 bucks so we passed...hope for the people going that it turns out to be more than this...maybe they do throw in a mimosa...wasn't clear to me if that was included in the price.

I am counting on the mimosas...... they did mention you had to be over 21 to consume alcoholic beverages which may be a normal warning for F&W events but I just took that as confirmation that mimosas are served. I hope. We've booked a few other events and this was the cheapest by far, excluding the deminars.

The description said start your morning with a Mimosa and later on mentioned unlimited coffee (no mention of unlimited Mimosas unfortunately) -those French folks can be kinda stingy when it comes to sharing their champagne

I believe the mimosa is included from what they are writing but you probably only get one - I can't think it's unlimited refills of those since they specified that the coffee was unlimited. I passed on that myself - I know for a F&W event it's cheap, but $40 for breakfast? I don't even like coffee. Wonder what else they will have on hand to make it special (if anything.) I'm thniking maybe a guy playing an accordion or something.

Maybe a guest appearance from Remy?

Remy could happen, they'd have to pay overtime to the cast member who handles him probably, but it could happen.
