Tips for getting to breakfast ADRs for First Timers.

On two of our days we have ADRs for breakfasts in parks shortly after the parks open- Cinderella's Royal Table and Tusker House.

Forgive me if this is a silly question- I hear you are able to get in early to the parks to get to the restaurant in time but where exactly do we go to get in (just the regular gate?) and how early are we allowed to get in?

Also any tips on how early we should be leaving our hotel by bus (Port Orleans Riverside) would be helpful as well!

What are your ADR times? There is usually one of the gates at each park (off to one side) for the use of breakfast or other early entry guests. Go to that gate and tell them where your ADR is. The first breakfast ADR is for around 8 a. m. They start letting them in around 7:30 (or a little earlier). Most people use the extra time to take photos on their way to the restaurant. In reality you can get to either of these places in 10 minutes from the gate.Common wisdom is to allow an hour for bus transportation. Buses start running at 0630.

Tusker House is for 9:10 and Royal Table is 8...something (having a brain fart & can't remember off the top of my head) on a day with morning Magic Hours.

We're hoping to leave plenty of time since my dad's in need of a knee replacement and can't walk very quickly.

Thanks for the help!

Make sure you give yourself lots of time to get to your ADRs. On EMH days the buses are packed bright and early.

Yes! Be sure to allow plenty of time, more than you think you'll need. Buses run less frequently first thing in the morning, and it's better to be too early than too late!

Don't forget you can always catch a cab in an emergency. I would try to be at the bus stop 90 minutes before your ADRs since they're around park opening times, but if you find you're still waiting for a bus and it's getting late catch a cab. It's better than trying to run to an ADR with a person with a bad knee or missing your ressie and being charged $10 per person or full price for CRT

I don't know if they'd let you in Tusker House before the park opens. When we did TH before the park opened, there was a woman with a clipboard who checked our name off when we showed up so they knew who to let in.

Also wanted to mention that when we did MK, no one was checking our times but the group who had accummulated outside the gate was let in around 7:50. This was in November, so not sure if there are earlier times available during other times of the year.
