In your opinion, what is the best lunch CS near COP in MK?

For some reason, we are never on that side of the park during lunch. We are always over in frontierland at lunchtime. Anyway - we are going to be doing a tour (Marceline to MK tour) that ends at the COP at about 11:15. I think we will do a CS lunch - what are my best options?

Cosmic Rays. Check out the menu there are a lot of choices. The down side is there are 3 bays with different food, so if you want different things from the different bays you will have to wait in more than 1 line. There is a fixin's bar with lettuce, tomato, onions, hot cheese etc. Try to sit in the area where Sonny Eclipse is he tells some funny jokes.

For me the only decent Counter Service at Magic Kingdom is Be Our Guest I thought the food was very very good and the atmosphere is outstanding!

You could get a Fastpass+ at 11:30 so it gives you a little time after the tour to get over to Be Our Guest but you won't have to wait in line because of FP+

I second the votes for either Be Our Guest or Cosmic Ray's. I enjoyed both and they're fairly close to COP (Cosmic Ray's is the closest).

You might be thinking of the Tomorrowland Noodle Station, but it has been replaced by the Tomorrowland Terrace.

Bummer! That is what I am thinking about - I did not know it was replaced. It looks like Cosmic Rays it is - unless I can get a BOG FP+ when April opens up. We already have an ADR scheduled for a BOG dinner ....do you think also doing lunch would be overkill?

I was asking myself that same question. We have a dinner ressie at BOG. I do think it would be too much to go twice in one day. If you were there another day during your trip I would try lunch. We went for lunch in November and it was great. This will be our first time going for dinner. But to answer your other question - we like cosmic rays too, but also enjoy Columbia house for lunch too.

Cosmic Rays, make sure to grab a table in main room. I love that alien!

You could always go to the Plaza (if you aren't on the dining plan and concerned about credits) it's table service at slightly more than counter service prices, and IMHO a good deal as far as Disney restaurants go. It's really close to the Tomorrowland entrance.

The difference between a $10 sandwich at Cosmic Ray's and a $13 sandwich at the Plaza is night and day. That said, the 1/2 rotisserie chicken at cosmic rays is almost enough for 2.
