In our 4 past trips to Disney, the only table service restaurant we have done for breakfast was Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. Going in, I thought there would not be a big variety of breakfast foods, but I was wrong! There was a large variety of foods, and it was all delicious. There are characters there (Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald), but that is not why I would choose it again. I just really enjoyed the food! Waffles, smoked salmon, biscuits and sauce, ham, fruits, cheeses, bacon, quiche (I believe), it was all delish.

We love Boma for breakfast - it is located in Animal Kingdom Lodge/ Jambo House. If you are not looking for character interaction then it can't be beaten for quality and choice.

We aren't big breakfast diners but when we do, we really enjoy Trails End over at Ft. Wilderness.

For our family, its Kona Cafe. Love the fresh pressed coffee!
My husband, who is not a big breakfast eater, loves the macadamia nut pancakes, my MIL loves the Tonga Toast, and I always order the Samoan.

We do

Trails End at least once per trip. They have a great buffet, super variety, Mickey Waffles and it's only $14.99!

I ca't say we have just one must-do but we do have a Crystal Palace tradition for the first morning of vacation, pre rope drop at the MK. We also try to make it to Kona, Boma, and the Grand Floridian Cafe once each trip. This year we are also trying The Wave at the Contemporary for the first time.

Kouzzina at the Boardwalk is a must do every trip. Sometimes we go twice in 1 week. The coffee is great and the food is delicious!!! I usually get the Kouzzina stacked which is really different or the waffels. Take a look at the menu. You can go before an Epcot or HS day.
The other place we go every trip is Boma but you said you are already having dinner there. That is also a reat place for brakfast.

Boma is my must-do also for breakfast. The variety and quality are the best. The bread pudding is ridiculously delicious!

Definitely Boma. Even if you already have dinner reservations, the food is completely different and you will not be disappointed. We usually go twice during our stays.

For food, Kona at the Polynesian. Banana stuffed Tonga Toast. Pancakes with macadamia nut butter and pineapple. And (my opinion) best coffee on site.

For character interaction and variety, Tusker House at AK. You get a pic with Donald in safari gear, and during the meal, the other characters make their rounds in safari gear. The buffet selection goes from hot, homey favorites (like corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, carved ham) to Krispy Creme donuts.

We really liked the CP character breakfast pre-RD. The food was mostly the standard breakfast buffet stuff with some originals (like the pooh's french toast!), but we liked the character interactions one of the best of the many character meals we went to. And the pre-RD walk down Main St. is really nice (one of the best DIS tips I got before our last trip).
