Castaway Cay/Key?

Super silly question but it is driving me crazy. I have never talked to someone in person about Castaway Cay. BUT my mom did the other day and she swears they pronounced it KEY not CAY. Which is right? So confused.

I've been confused too. Still, I hear a LOT of people say Cay. Isn't that the same with CocoCay and Half Moon Cay? Anyway my question is what CC is considered... Bahamas, FL keys and US or does it matter cuz no one lives on it and there is no jurisdiction? That is my question.

I am a proud American monoglot and I think of English as ESL (English as a Stupid Language).

Here's a link to a dictionary - that defines "Cay" and if you click on the speaker button you can hear it's pronunciation.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/cay

oh yea, you can look up monoglot here also.

I hear Parrot Cay pronounced incorrectly also, even though all the CMs say it the right way.

While it is properly "key" and I know that quite well, I think Disney made it more difficult to say properly by putting Castaway in front it. I just want to rhyme!!!
