Clothing on a cruise

This is going to be silly, but what does everyone normally wear? Short, jeans

I wear three quarters, or shorts depending on the weather. We dress up at nighttime like we are going out

Sorta depends on where and when the cruise is.

I took cute lil sun dresses to wear for dinner. They were comfy, flattering and if I ate too much, it didn't matter too much. (Not like a tight pair of jeans.) They also helped me get ready VERY quickly. (slip on some tights, pull dress over head, tie belt, slip into sparkly flip flops, put a tiara in and some make up and wala! show/dinner ready!)

I brought a really bright colored artsy style floral knee length sun dress for Animators Pal (for art colors), had brought a floral for the Enchanted Garden but it was pirate night so wore that to dinner isntead, and then brought the pink cutie below for Royal Palace and princess photos:

Here's our bright AP artsy dresses:

Here's my Royal Palace knee length dress & tiara:

When I'm actually snorkeling, this is my attire, and it's very flattering n comfy!:

I actually used tennis skort sets and lil thigh dresses as swim suit coverups with cute Rue 21 shorty tights underneath (for comfy damp/hot no leg rubby problems, ladies you know what I mean) and so my can didn't hang out of my cute mini cover up dresses. That's what we went casually around the ship with or on the island and then switch into above for shows and dinner.

My honey wore shorts or swim trunks (at CC) and Tshirts casual all day and then a polo shirt and dark jeans to show/dinner.

And I love you for asking this because it means it might be your first cruise!

Aww.

Shorts and T's during the day. Dinner depends upon the agenda. Slacks and blouse for formal. Jeans/ slacks, non- tennis shoes and a nice shirt for dinner.
Whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I've gone kinda nutty buying Lilly Pulitzer dresses & outfits. Colorful, fun, simple. Comfort is the name of the game!

Shorts or jeans during the day, depending on weather and the day's activities. We change for dinner to dress up a bit.

Depends on where you are going; Bahams or Caribbean I tend to do sundresses, but keep a cardigan on hand; although the Caribbean can be a little warmer than the Bahams. Never done a cool/cold climate cruise, so no help there. My daughter had a combo of shorts, t's, tanks, dresses and tutus, but again, kept a sweater and denim jacket on hand and she had a ton of shoes; probably too many. Even if it's warm the a/c on the ship can be cold.

At Sea Days I hang out in swimsuit with cover up as needed.

Excursion days. Shorts and T's or tank top or a cotton sundress.

Evenings. A dress for each night. I love to dress up. I'm a Lilly Pulitzer lover as well. I also buy a lot of my dresses off of Zullily.

I would include a light sweater or wrap for dinner. I find the MDRs a bit on the chilly side... During the day we live in bathing suits or shorts and t shirts.

For the majority of the day I wear shorts and polo shirt. I'll change into my swim shorts if I decide to take a dip. Just before dinner I'll change into long pants and dress shirt.

I always have my sweater with me onboard, I find all the interior spaces chilly. In fact, on our Hawaii cruise, the WDT was outright freezing! People were bringing blankets from their rooms and the adult pool area to wrap up in during the shows.

I found the cutest crop sweater that is a gold/champagne *in Tiana photo* that fits in a small back pack but I actually didn't have to use it very much. I like it because its not a black sweater and it's pretty neutral to go with just about anything and it's nice enough for dinner or casual. $5 at Charlotte Ruse, whatwhat.

Daytime it is bathing suits, shorts or sundresses. Evening we dress up, fancy dresses on formal and semi-formal nights and skirts/dressy tops and capris on casual nights. So fun!
