embarkation lunch

We are sailing the Dream in a few weeks.

Which would you suggest Cabanas or Enchanted Garden

Both places have a buffet. It just depends on how crowded the main dining room is. If there's a wait, you might want to go to Cabanas.

There's a lot of different food to choose from -- makes it hard for me not to spoil my appetite for dinner.

I prefer to eat up on the deck, IMHO. It's a nice way to spend the first hour or so. Also, last time, we were able to get the kids in the pool right away, which they LOVED!!!!

I like the embarkation buffet at Cabanas. I like the lamb chops the view of the port adds to the moment.

IMHO- Cabanas but we had an early embarkation time. Wasn't super crowded.

another vote for cabanas. I love to sit on the outside deck and let the wind whip through my hair.....okay, a little hokey, but I do love to sit out there and its my way to start my vacation. there's not that many tables out there so its seldom crowded.

We prefer by the pool as it makes me feel like I am on a cruise.

Definitely Cabanas On three of our last four cruises, we have been the very first family to enter cabanas, so we are in & out before it gets crowded. On the Fantasy, we've seen Capt Tom eating there twice, which was cool.

Yes Cabanas is on the pool deck at the back of the ship. I like EG, though they say the food is the same in both places. Lamb chops are a definite plus.

I like to wait and see what the weather is. If its warm, then Cabanas it is! If it is cooler, then we would eat at EG. We have always been lucky enough to be one of the first to board so we like to eat outside at Cabanas with a drink of the day and then head to the pools. We don't rush our lunch but still make it to the pool with hardly anyone there. It's the perfect way for us to start the trip
