Alligators at OKW?

As anybody seen any Alligators at OKW or the waters between OKW and DTD?

I would love to see some in the wild around the property.

Anybody have pictures?

Thanks
Dave Goofydad Dionne

I have seen gators in WDW at:
Palm and Magnolia Golf courses.
Bay Lake while in a boat over past FWC.
Trumbo Canal between PO and DL and between OKW and DTD.

Also, be on the look out for the "Go Gators", they are all over the place and alot of fun to be around.

Thumbs down

I always laugh when I see "gators" questions because they are literally everywhere along the Florida, Alabama, Misissippi, and Louisiana coasts. If it is an open body of water larger than a puddle, it has been, is currently, or will in the near future be occupied by a gator.

ETA: sorry for the thumbs down. I keep doing that and I cannot figure out how???

That is what I have always heard but have never seen one in 20+ trips. I've seen snakes, hawks, armadillo , deer fox etc but never a gator lol

I'm happy to dance with you
I have 2 opinions
We had tried usual things to keep them away, including something like coyote urine, it is sold in hardware stores by us

I do not have pictures, but I have seen one in the water that the paddle boat in the MK travels in. We told a CM who said that it will be taken care of and they come there often.

Mk

Years ago we saw a couple of trained Disney employees pull a huge alligator out of the area where the paddle boat is too. It took them less than a minute start to finish. I am not sure where they went but they did it and disappeared quickly.

Thanks. Having grown up on the coast we sort of take for granted that there WILL be gators in any pond/lake ect.

OK I am the OP so this is what is really bothering me

I knew when i posted this that people would reply about gators being everywhere, kind of like people being in New Hampshire in the winter and complaining about the cold and the snow hey it's New Hampshire in the winter. BUT I have never seen a gator can't Disney pay somebody to train the alligators to come out at a regular time and place so I can see one in the wild? you know kind of like the jungle cruise?
ok just kidding but I really needed a chuckle this morning

have a great disney day

Sorry, no picture, they are all scrap booked, however, we have seen a gator at OKW once.
Been to New Hampshire 40+ times and only seen a moose once!!! No picture of that, though.

Too funny
My daughter is still waiting to see her first moose but we only live about 50 miles north of Boston, we have a few around us but not that many.

Well I'm a Floridian, been to OWK maybe 30 times in the last 12-13 years and I've never seen one! I let my son and his buddies paddle boat in the canals, rent the 2 passenger speedracers, so far so good! All limbs still intact and accounted for!

I think my worse fear on property is being attacked by those seagulls at MK, they are braisen! On several occasions I seen them swoop down and snag peoples hamburger buns!
