Dining Plan prices - w/ or w/out tax?

Standard Dining Plan prices for late August/September are:

$55.59 per night ages 10 and up
$17.16 per night age 3 to 9

Do I add tax to these numbers? A CM told me this morning that it's $59 per adult in value season. I see $55.59 - so is this because tax is added to it to bring it to $59? or was the CM wrong and it's really just $55.59 total?

Thx!!!

The CM is wrong. They don't actually have these prices broken down; all they have is the package price. The reason we have them is people "booked" vacations on the Disney website and then "booked" with dining to figure out the price difference.

The prices you have above include tax and are correct.

CMs typically say "less than $59...." They don't give the exact numbers that the Dis has.

The dining plan prices include the tax ON THE MEALS. That's outside of any tax that might be assessed on your package booking itself. I know there are taxes included in the room rate but I don't know if they add something like a sales tax on the entire booking or not.
