Sci Fi non-car seating: how is the view of the screen?

We ate at sci fi for the first time last summer and loved it. There were only 5 of us so we easily fit into a car. We are going back this December with a larger party (7 of us) and I'm considering Sci Fi again. I know we won't all fit into one car, and that's fine; it's more the overall atmosphere and the movie clips that are the most important to us. If we were to sit at tables, how does the movie viewing work---will some of us have our backs to the screen? I just can't recall the configuration/orientation of the tables. I searched around but couldn't seem to find this exact question asked.

Thanks!

I've eaten there and did not have a problem with the view.

For the tables, see here:

The screen is on the left of the pic, so the car is directly facing the screen (which you obviously cant see in this pic). But at Scifi, you can see the screen from every seat in the house. Dont worry.

Since you've got a party of 7, you may be better off using a few of the picnic tables in the back. They're round so a few people could potentially have their backs to the screen but you could always squish up a bit so they're sideways instead or just take turns. The view is great, even though they're at the back. Just another option since the tables in the PP's pics looked like they only seat 6. :-)

but the picnic tables are pretty crappy. lol.

One thing confuses me about the pics.....i've been there and could have sworn the tables seat 8. Not 6. I even remember reading about it on the boards. People have been saying 8. But these pics show 6.

EDIT TO ADD: check out this thread from the past. They confirm what i was saying. Each table seats 8!

You are pretty far from the screen, but if you are more interested in conversation with your tablemates or eating quickly, it's a good option. You still get the atmosphere of the restaurant.
