My favorite thing to do when I was mad at hubby was to turn the nozzle directly towards the door. When he turned on the shower it hit him in the face. He caught on. He did it to me too. We both caught on.

I never noticed until just now, but when I get in my (glass) shower, I enter on the nozzle side, however when I get into a shower that has a shower curtain I get in on the opposite side. I wonder why I do that?

And the water always goes on first. The water heater is in the basement and our showers are on the second floor. It takes awhile for the hot water to get up there.

Um, my shower is rectangular with a glass door so there's only one way to get in. I run the water, check the temp and just get in. No way to get in from the back or front. Am I the only one that thinks this is a strange question?

Interesting question... for me, it all depends on the placement of the shower. In my master bath, the back of the shower is basically blocked by the sink and in my guest bath, the toilet blocks easy entry to the nozzle area.

However, no matter which side I have to enter from, I ALWAYS point the shower head towards the back wall.

I turn the water on first then enter furthest away from the faucet.

Don't you stick your hand in first to feel the temp?

Given the answers to the question, I would say YES..you are the only one that finds it strange Not everyone has a rectangular shower but I'm sure that most of those that do realize that not everyone does and can comprehend the question as it is being asked

Turn it on, adjust the temp, then get in from the back (furthest from the faucet). It seems like water would end up on the floor outside the shower if you get in from the front by the showerhead.
