Question about Camelbak

I was planning on bringing a CamelBak backpack with water already in it to the parks, is that going to be a problem at security? Seems like a silly question, but I've been worrying myself over it all day!

Thanks!

It will not be a problem unless you fill it with beer...

I think even if you filled it with beer, it would probably be OK

We use one on every trip, because I can't stand the taste of the water at the parks. We've never had anyone question it, though they do want to do a cursory search of the pockets. We always have snacks and things like baby wipes, and no one has ever even batted an eye. In my experience, the security isn't done in such a way that its likely they would find anything if there was a problem. They just don't check very closely, sadly.

They are trained to know what to look for.... you'd be surprised. They're checking out YOU too (profiling)!

I see them all over the parks, so I assume there are no issues at security.

We LOVE Camelbaks! Every trip DH, DD13, DD9 and I each carry our own. In October we will get DD2 her own for our big family trip and she can mule her own water. I don't care for the taste of their water at all so I just buy a few gallon jugs, fill the bags, stick in our hotel fridge and we're good to go. Security has never been a problem for us.
