Thanks so much, and it's cool that you're relatively close to Jones Beach! I've always enjoyed taking pictures from the plane (usually of clouds ), but these pics become even cooler when you can actually recognize the places in them.

In fact, the bread accompaniments and overall value may have been better at Sanaa.

Love seeing your Sanaa review......it's a must do for us each trip!!! I am still so sad about them removing my Orange Sesame Cake. It was my favorite cake in Disney

Our last update on Tuesday was from the Polynesian and so was our First Update of the Day on Wednesday, sent to us by Stephanie (SRiley1985) yesterday morning.

She and her DH had dinner on Tuesday night at...

"First was the pineapple coconut bread..."

"Then came the salad..."

"Then our potstickers and wings..."

"Then our noodles and veggies..."

"All of this came within 5 minutes and we were sitting at a small two top table!!! I love 'Ohana, but that seriously affected my meal enjoyment. By the time I ate my noodles and veggies, they were cold."

Here are the meats...

Chicken

Steak

Pork

"And last, but certainly not least, the reason for this meal...

...THE BREAD PUDDING!"

"OMG, it was just as wonderful as I remember. Heaven."

"Overall, it was a great meal, even if the pacing was ridiculously fast."

Our next update yesterday was also from Stephanie, this one from her breakfast at the Beach Club's...

She said, "This morning we had breakfast from the Marketplace before we hopped a bus to MK."

"We split the Breakfast Platter, which is eggs, bacon, breakfast casserole and a biscuit. Everything was good but the potatoes were kind of undercooked. Overall though, we liked it and will probably have it again tomorrow."

Next Couchy sent us the final update from her trip which ended Monday.

She said, "Final update from the last afternoon. We snacked through Epcot, starting with France's new ice cream shop..."

L'Artisan des Glaces

"This is chocolate ice cream. It was very chocolatey and delicious."

"Then a cream cheese stuffed pretzel from the American Pavilion's..."

Fife & Drum

"Yum."

"Last but not least, this is Centine from Italy..."

"This hit the spot."

"And that's all for this addition. Talk to you soon."

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the Sanaa pics! And I remember that orange sesame cake - it was very light and unique. I'm surprised there isn't a recipe for it anywhere online.

Then we have a couple more updates from Stephanie (SRiley1985), the first one from their lunch yesterday at Magic Kingdom's...

Be our Guest

First some pics of the ordering kiosk...

Their order...

Drink Dispenser...

"I loved everything about the restaurant, especially the artwork!"

Now for their food, John chose the Croque Monsieur (Ham & Cheese sandwich)...

"He let me have a bite and I think it was delish! I really liked the nutty flavor of the bread."

"The portion was huge though. This is what was left over and my hubby is not a light eater!"

"I chose the Roast Beef Sandwich with the horseradish cream sauce..."

"My impression - way too much bread and not enough horseradish to taste like anything. It was okay but I didn't even finish half because I wanted to save room for dessert."

"This is what I had left. Way too much food for 90 degree heat."

"For dessert, John had the Lemon Cupcake..."

"He said it was good but needed more lemon flavor."

"I got the Chocolate Cupcake..."

"I think you can tell how I felt about it."

"I loved this mosaic on the way out. It was gorgeous!"

I told myself I wasn't making any more changes to our August plans. Then I see Mr. DDW's Raglan Road brunch review! We had planned to have dinner but now brunch it will be thus leaving me an open dinner spot now!

Thank goodness I had already planned on lunch at Sanaa!

Next we have Stephanie's (SRiley1985) two-part snack update from Magic Kingdom.

"After wandering around Tom Sawyer Island for a while, John wanted a snack so he got this frozen Strawberry Lemonade from an ice cream cart. He said it was perfect!"

"Then on the way back to the Beach Club, I wanted to stop at the Main Street Bakery and get an iced tea."

"Here are some pics of the menu they hand you when you walk in."

"Love the light fixtures!"

"Here is my shaken Black Iced Tea with two sweet and low. Tasted so good because I was so hot."

"We stopped and I enjoyed my tea while listening to an awesome rendition of "Under the Sea! That's all for now. We don't really have any plans for dinner, so we will see where we end up."

Next in were some updates from our Universal reporter, SwirlyGirly.

First was a snack update and then a lunch update from Universal Studios...

She said, "The girls stopped in The San Fran Candy Factory. Anna got a hunk of peanut butter fudge and Ellie chose a box of Everlasting Gobstoppers.

"For lunch the kids begged to return to Springfield to go to Krusty Burger."

"Anna has a Krusty cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. The cheese is cheese sauce and there is also a secret sauce which is the typical ketchup-mayo-relish sauce. It was nice that they kept the GF bun wrapped and let her assemble her burger herself. That way, she was sure she had a GF bun. The fries came with the meal, but since they are not gluten-free, they let her substitute with a fruit salad."

""

"Ellie is dairy-free so she chose a Krusty burger without cheese.
The patties were cooked to death and dry. They aren't cooked to order or even cooked recently! They were in the display, already cooked. I think they were purposely going for kind-of-gross. But the kids a really loved them. I swear!"

"Ellie chose water, but Anna went with the Buzz Cola which is a cherry-flavored cola with a stronger cherry flavor than Cherry Coke ( and more red too)."

"I decided to skip lunch today considering the chosen venue! And, not surprisingly, we had to leave the park early since both kids have tummy aches!"

"Then Mama got a Big Bula from the Bula Bar...

"It's a mixture of coconut rum, banana and melon liqueurs, and passion fruit."

"Universal hotels do poolside right! They help you find loungers, set your towels up with a neck roll, they have great cocktails and poolside food menus with servers delivering to your loungers. They offer free ice water and sunscreen too."

Then we have a couple of updates from keypooh90 from their day at Epcot yesterday.

First was a breakfast update from...

Sunshine Seasons

She said, "We shared two breakfast paninis with breakfast potatoes, and one berry croissant bread pudding. We also shared two iced mochas."

"The panini had pork, egg, Swiss cheese and bacon on a seasoned ciabatta. We really enjoyed the sandwich but thought the pork was a little dry. The egg and cheese was really good. The bread pudding was good but a little dry. It needed some kind of sauce. The iced mochas were pretty good."

Then they had lunch at France's...

Boulangerie Patisserie

"We had a Croque Monsieur, a ham and cheese croissant and a ham and cheese baguette. Desserts were a macaroon, chocolate mousse, and a coffee mousse."

"My sister enjoyed the baguette and thought it was extremely fresh. My mom said her Croque Monsieur was good but not as good as the baguette. I really enjoyed the warm and roasted croissant. It was delicious."

Regarding their desserts, she said, "My mom greatly enjoyed the mousse. It was rich and creamy. My sister said her dessert was really light and tasted like a light tiramisu. I loved the freshness of my macaroon. It was delicious."

Our next update was sent to us by Indy Denise, who has now transferred over to Disney World (after spending a few days as US) and had her first Disney meal last night at POR's...

Riverside Mill

She said, "We really liked the selection there. I was getting ready to get some menu pics when my niece dropped her cherry cobbler at the register."

"The CM was so sweet and made sure that Lauren was okay. Here is Lauren's plate with new cobbler...

...safely covered!"

"My nephew Ty had the pizza and brownie to go with the swag."

"Bro in-law Perry had the Mahi Mahi and said it was great!"

"Sis Deb had the chicken sandwich and said the fries were old."

"Bran had the Create your own Pasta and they gave him a ton of shrimp."

"While we really liked the food we really love the CM's. They are very nice and helpful."

Glad Mr. DDW did the Raglan Road brunch... I didn't know it existed. But that bread pudding brought back some of the best food memories!!

I really want to try the Roast Beef sandwich at BoG but from Stephanie's review it sounds like I should stick with a cupcake. Maybe they could add more horseradish sauce?

Vicki, Vicki, Vicki... more changes to your dining line up? What a surprise!

Great updates all you live reports. You are doing your job well - which results in some pretty powerful cravings at 9pm!
