Just done this re coffee. Omg lol! Too much caffeine I think for some lol! If I started to think like that over any substance I would have to declare myself an addict and detox lol.

Oh, I see. An example from this week would be when someone insisted it was impossible for FL TV stations to air a "future" segment of Jeopardy early since the segment would not have been sent out yet, even though there was ample evidence that a future segment was indeed aired

Please note: I realize you cannot "hear" tone on the internet--please read this in the "just a little friendly jab" tone that it is intended. Thanks

Any thread that starts with... "I have a complaint. Does anyone know the address I should use to send my complaint?"

Lol. Yes! I bet the poor moderators see those titles and think 'here we go...'. I sometimes wonder if people start these threads with a known inflammatory title such as 'I have a complaint about people pool hopping' or something. Sit back with a coffee and cake ( is it starbucks or Nescafe lol ) and enjoy the thread self destruct without any further action from themselves...

I know I DCL doesn't require passports on a closed loop caribbean cruise, but should I get them for my kids? This ultimately turns into a judgment - if you can afford the cruise, you can afford the passports and you are putting your children in jeopardy by not having them! Again, any record of trips or use of smart
Phones or room category may be used to support this position.

Also, I know my port arrival time is 12:00, but can I get there early- don't want to miss anything on the ship!

...
And liking something/anything better about another cruise line or another park (Universal?) better than Disney!

Well, at least your husband does it right!

I agree with others about coffee threads being controversial. I don't remember any coffee threads like that.

How has no one said Brazilian Tour Groups? That always turns into a "they are rude, horrible and annoying vs. they are just kids having fun and you are being racist" debate.

I haven't seen anyone mention Stay At Home Moms vs Work Outside the Home. Whenever I see those threads start I make a mental note of how many posts it will take for someone to state the dreaded "I don"t want someone else raising my kids" only to be answered by "what a waste of your college degree".

I didnt read all these pages -- but my top list would include, in no particular order.

Pool Hopping / Refillable mugs
how much for a wedding gift (aka covering your plate)
helicopter parents / snowflakes -- including all things related to bathroom usage
phones for kids
tipping
breastfeeding
I have $50K in CC debt, but is it ok if I go to Disney??
Stroller vs Scooters and which on is more annoying -- also includes why a party of 15 has to board the bus (and line jump), even though only 1 person is in a scooter.

Q: If someone from the 50's appeared today, what would be the most difficult thing to explain to them about life today?

A: I possess a device, in my pocket, that is capable of accessing the entirety of information known to man. I use it to look at pictures of cats and get in arguments with strangers.
