Sometimes inflation can hit you inbetween meals

We're leaving for home tomorrow and so I took the family for a last meal at Beaches and Cream and noticed that the menus were all nice and new, unlike the ones we got yesterday which I noticed showed some wear. Well, not only were the menus new....the prices were new as well. Some of the items had gone up about 50cents and the Kitchen Sink is now 28.99 vs 26.99 the other day. Oh well, we love the food there. BTW, Brian and Katie are still working there as servers.

It happens. A local restaurant we go to did same thing to us, but the increases were all $1.00-$2.00 per item. I guess if we hadn't just gone there right before the increase we might not have noticed it as much. It is a really small place and always crowded so I guess they figured the increases wouldn't hurt them.

Saw that once at Tutto Gusto. Went back the next day and everything on the menu had gone up $1.
