Leaving car at port?

We are driving down the day before and plan on leaving our car at port Canaveral, I am a little worried about leaving it there, has anyone had any issues with leaving their car there?

never had a problem except with cost. cost is $15 a day. you count both departure and retun days.

great covered parking.

We've parked at the port and at an off property lot and never had any problems.
We used Park 'n Cruise the last 2 times we drove over. http://parkcruise.com/

Parking at Port Canaveral is gated, well-lighted and patrolled.

Thanks! That's a huge relief knowing it is gated and secure

We parked there and accidentally left the car unlocked for a 5-night. No issues. Multiple iPods and iPads were still there.

Heck yeah! Parkportcanaveral.com !!! Used it twice this year. The first time, it was 5.95/day which was much better than the cruise terminal. The second time, it was 3.95/day!!! What what.

Not only that, but in previous years, if we parked at the cruise terminal, we were pretty much on our own to get all our luggage checked in all. Not with the Radisson parking. They have a big shuttle bus and crew to help load it and they take it right to the terminal for you. It's the easiest, low hassle cheapest and I can only recommend them. Service is great, both times, we either walked right or waited about 5 min for a shuttle to come. We don't have to struggle from the car to the to the check in carrying every pc of luggage we have...

It is actually cheaper to park in the garage than outside...in the elements. I head up to the upper levels, you never know what can come ashore over the course of a week. I saw an awful lot of cruise customers cars that were destroyed by Sandy this past fall up north....and who would have figured???

Wouldn't park anywhere else.

If you get off the ship & it's raining, you'll be glad you're not waiting for a shuttle. Plus if you are trying to make a quick get away to the parks, the airport or a hospital (I had to get to a hospital 2 cruises ago for an emergency Kidney procedure ), you'll be on the road a lot quicker.

Sorry. In my own personal opinion. I think that is el baloney. My friends all paid full price at the parking garage. It wasn't any faster and it was definitely a lot more money. They wanted the security aka didn't want to try the unknown to them. It's what they have always done and what they will always do. They spent over $110 for the week. I spent $50 for the week. If I have to pay, I have to pay. But I have had 2 good experiences with them, and I only paid $15 for my last cruise parking (3 days). If I hadn't tried them, I wouldn't recommend them. It worked out good for my parents too not to have to load all their luggage and carry it to the terminal.

We used the parking garage in December. Very easy. Very convenient. Well worth the price. There are porters everywhere to help with luggage if you choose to use them.

We were headed to Universal after cruise and were very happy that we didn't have to wait around for a shuttle to bring us to our car.

Total personal choice, but the savings wasn't worth the extra (no matter how minor) trouble.
