To get FREE dining you must book the full package - minimum of - Room, 2 day tickets and dining (free).

They can take the KTTW cards and ask that the tickets be taken off and then save them for another trip.

But they will HAVE to purchase tickets (2 days) to get Free dining.

I actually made a post about a week ago that I had an odd "gut" feeling about the 9th for some reason (call it a veteran's huntch).

I actually long ago had made two date ranges of identical dining reservations just in the event of something like this happening. I made one at the end of August and one in September that are identical ADRs.

At least now I can get Coronado Springs, which wasn't available the last week of August.
I remember you saying the hunch thing about May 9th -

I hope you enjoy your free dining!!!! I don't hold much hope for my November trip. However I am very hopeful for either a general Room Only or a great AP room rate. But if not, I am going anyways. - I hope much more, for employee rates at the Swolphin as that is always a better deal for me.

That's good info to have. At least I know for sure that one person will at least get the free dining.
Maybe there will be a room-only discount for everyone else? If we were staying at a Mod or Deluxe resort it would likely be worth it to buy two tickets for everyone, but for counter service, that's unlikely.

If you can give me more details - dates, how many in each room what kind of dining they prefer I can look at it and give you better details of what might work best for you. You can send it in a PM if you want to

Its most likely a formatting error should look like this. The reason it looks odd is because FW is the odd duck and is the only one in that category.

Eek! Been waiting to hear of FD in Sept. can't wait to book our trip. As long as you arrive within the time frame your whole trip is covered correct?

You're confusing me with your question. What do you mean one person would get free dining? Everyone on the reservation has to have the same things, so either everyone gets free dining or no one gets it.

Yes, your check IN date must fall within the FD promo dates.

Still kicking myself for not booking the BB last year. We really didn't think we'd be going again until 2014 so we just dismissed it right off. Lesson learned. Book the deposit for the BB and if you can't make the trip then cancel it and get your deposit back.

I still can't think they'd let that season go with no discount at all though. I expect blackouts for holidays, spring break, etc but to not have anything would be a surprise. I think we can agree that FD is out for late August so I think a room promo might come through.
