I still can't decide! DH really wants to go to coral reef an ohana, and DS definitely wants sci-fi. What about 50's? Is that a must? We've never been to it before!

If they do not offer FD.... Well I'm not even gonna go down that road haha!!

I would ditch 1900 PF, we have been to both breakfast and dinner and the food at each was terrible

I would drop the Ohana breakfast. Kids should love 50's Primetime and Sci-fi! I have never eaten at Coral Reef since my dh is allergic to seafood but the setting is amazing.

Our of that list I would drop this as well. We love 1900 PF breakfast but not big fans of dinner.

Hmmmm- what if I dropped 1900 dinner and exchanged the ohana breakfast for 1900? That way my dd gets her stepsisters, who she loves?

Personally I would drop arkeshu (sp?). I know many people love it but I think it is very over rated.

Coral Reef is one of my favorite restraunts on property so I would adivse against changing it. If you love seafood I would high recommend it. They actually have great non seafood options as well so it is a win win! Personally I think the food here is beyond incredible and the chocolate wave dessert is one I look forward to every time I dine at Coral Reef!

Counting on FD to be announced, so I am doing one TS a day - but I need to eliminate one!! (And replace with the CS we won't be using on our departure day)

Arrival day: Raglan Road 8:30

MK: 1900 Park Fare - 7:15

HS: 50's primetime - 1:35 (lunch)

AK: 'Ohana - 7:10

Ep: Akershus - 6:40

HS: Sci-Fi - 8:15

EP: Coral Reef - 8:50 (This is the one I am considering dropping, since Epcot has lots of CS choices- but it looks really cool!)

MK: BOG - 8:45

Departure Day: 'Ohana b'kfast - 8:45
We were at WDW and had very good dinners at Ohana, 1900 Park Fare and Coral Reef.

If I understand this right, you would being now going to 1900 for breakfast? If so, the stepsisters are not there for breakfast. It is Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. (I hope I'm not missing anyone).

You see how everyones opinions vary so much, its funny. But here's mine. I love 1900 Park Fare. It's a must do for us. We like both breakfast and dinner, try to switch it up each trip. They have the strawberry soup each meal, so I'm happy!!

I also love Sci-Fi. Everyone is saying what a bad value it is on the dining plan, but it only is if you order something cheap. Last time DH had the steak and I had the Shrimp Pasta. Both are good values on the dining plan and DH liked his steak and the Shrimp Pasta was my favorite meal of the trip.

For me when the choices are tough I choose a restaurant inside the parks rather than dining outside just because it seems like such a time suck to me!

I might consider this. I mean, how hard is it to mess up breakfast? Just.don't.do.dinner there.

We liked scifi!!. Always had a good meal. And the theme is awesome.

1900 dinner is pretty disappointing. Stepsisters are funny thou. Bfast is better but its still not my fave. Plus I dont care for the characters at bfast. Atmosphere is quite drab as well.

I wasn't overly impressed with 1900 Park Fare. We had dinner there.

Well this thread is depressing me. I am doing 1900 Park Fare in June and it is the restaurant I am most looking forward to. I'm excited to see Lady Tremaine and the step-sisters. Not stoked about the food, but didn't think it sounded bad. In any case, I cannot, in good conscience, tell you to drop this restaurant because I am so stinkin' excited about it.

I wouldn't drop Raglan Road because that is a fun way to kick off your vacation and I'm assuming you have no intention of going to the parks on your first day. Because of that, you don't want to do counter service on your first day at a hotel. Maybe go to Wolfgang Puck Express if you really want to drop this, but I really think Raglan Road is a good choice.

50's Prime Time is a good time. Unless you are going with people who would not like the antics, I say keep. DHS isn't really known for good counter service anyway. In fact, my favorite isn't even on the DDP (Min and Bill's).

I love 'Ohana! Good food, fun time, and an absolute must.

Akershus is in my top 5 favorite restaurants at Disney. In all honesty, I have no idea why they haven't bumped this up to two credits, yet. I think it kicks the heck out of Cinderella's Royal Table. A definite keep.

Sci-Fi is another in my top 5. Truly the best themed restaurant on Disney property. Need to keep this reservation. Now, some have suggested paying out of pocket and that is an option but dropping the entire reservation, in my opinion, is not an option.

I haven't eaten at Be Our Guest because I haven't been able to get a reservation. Seems to be a common story. I'd keep it just because these reservations seem to be in high demand. Or, you could auction it off to the highest bidder here on the Dis.

I would advise you to drop Coral Reef for a few reasons. First of all, it is a neat atmosphere, but not all seats are created equal here. If you aren't close to the aquarium, it isn't all that special. Besides, you can see everything up close at The Living Seas. Second of all, I was pretty disappointed in the portion sizes. You can get counter service food in World Showcase that has larger portions for a fraction of the price. Third of all, the past two times I ate there, the service was quite slow. The waitstaff was very kind and friendly, but we were just there much longer than I would have ever intended. And finally, Epcot does have wonderful counter service restaurants. I highly recommend Tangerine Cafe (Morocco) as it is possibly my favorite counter service restaurant in all of WDW.
