Chef Mickey's: Breakfast or Dinner??

Being a 1st Timer with Kids Im Sooo New to Looking for Places to Eat as in "Sit Down" Meals! Me and My Husband are Very Plain Jane, Happy with Red Lobster and TGI Fridays Meals! We don't need to go to Victoria & Alberts or Places like that! We just like Average Ok Food, but Good Portions. Im trying to Get all the Info for our Upcoming Trip in October! I will have a 5 & 2 yr old and Would like to at least do something with the Characters. I think the Whole Monorail going through the place is pretty neat!! So Looking over Chef Mickey's it seems to get Good reviews. But what would you Prefer?? The Dinner Buffet looks pretty good but All I see is A LOT of pics and reviews of the Breakfast!! If you had to choose one Either Breakfast or Dinner, What would it be???
Thanks so much!!!

We have done both. I really liked the breakfast because there were so many choices but most were the same you could get anywhere else. The dinner I thought was really good and tons of different options for the 4 of us. I actually got to see Donald Duck that night there too. He was hilarious and was stomping his foot at a table because the mother was running back from the buffet to take pictures of the kids with him. I think it will depend on if you want to get up early to do breakfast or not. I would choose dinner myself. This is a place where you can get the photos added to photopass+ also which is nice.

I would choose breakfast. The dinner food wasn't appealing to us, but breakfast was yummy. Besides that, it's just a fun way to kick off your day before heading to the parks. We chose to go early before the parks opened. The wait isn't backed up if you're there first thing in the morning.

Have done both and would suggest Breakfast over Dinner in a heart beat! Dinner was a one time thing.. we weren't crazy for the food. Breakfast on the other hand has been my favorite character buffet since I was a kid!
Next trip- November 6-14th 2015 Port Orleans French Quarter!!

Another vote for breakfast. We did not care for the food at dinner. There is a good selection for breakfast and we enjoyed the food much more!

Breakfast, dinner seems to be a little more crowded and louder than breakfast. Breakfast most people aren't awake still but either one is fun.

Thanks All!!! Looks Like Im going to Go with Breakfast!!!!
May I just Make this Question a LITTLE More Difficult???!!!!!
If your Entire Trip you had to Choose Only ONE Place to Do Breakfast with your Kids, Would it be Chef Mickey's or Is there Somewhere Else out there Better in your Opinion???
Thanks so much!!!
Your Input is Awesome!! Making Reservations Tomorrow!!!
