Your initial posts about the contract indicated that they were banked points from 2011. In fact, as you may recall, I called about that contract shortly after you bought it. I thought it was advertised as banked points. I would not have been as interested in the contract if they were in holding.

You may want to look closely at your contract to see if they were actually banked. If so, member administration should review the contract and convert them to banked. Maybe they were accidentally entered as holding points when your contract was recently loaded.

I do remember! Thank you. It was advertised as banked, and my contract says banked. I contacted the Timeshare Store to double check, and I will call MS tomorrow as well. That hadn't occurred to me that it cold have been entered incorrectly. Thanks!

You may actually need to talk to member accounting or member administration. Since the contract passed ROFR stating that the 2011 points were banked, then they need to fix that for you. I think that they would have had to send the contract back to the broker for an amended contract if they were, in fact, in holding status.

Good luck!

Good luck! I hope you can get it sorted out. If they are indeed banked points & NOT holding points that would be great.

I too think if your contract says banked points, with NO mention of holding points, and it was passed, not sent back for an addendum, there is a fair chance it was improperly entered.

Ok...so...talked to TSS, these were actually points that were in HOLDING and not banked after all, and TSS admitted to the error and Disney also made in error in not catching that it was incorrect on the contract. I was hoping for a reversal or exception, but no such luck. I am stuck with the holding points.

So I think my plan will be this...

I am going to cancel one of the HHI days I have right now so my trip is less than 100 points, and I will bank 14 points in July. Then in September, I will add on 3 days to my HHI trip (please let there be availability mid-November 60 days out).

We will be staying Sunday through Friday, 6 nights. Do you think it matters what 3 nights I book? First 3? Last 3? Maybe the 1st night and the last two nights since it would be unlikely someone would book a two bedroom for three nights mid-week?

Well, that really stinks! Two separate sets of DVC professionals really screwed this up for you and you are left to deal with their mistake. You should at least be offered some compensation for that error, since you could potentially be left with those holding points going unused.

Hopefully availability will be good at HH for you in Nov. I would suspect so, but I don't know anything about booking at that resort.

Your plan sounds like a good one. I was going to suggest grabbing the weekend days, since it seems like it is more likely that someone within a few hours of HHI may be more likely to plan a weekend getaway. I would definitely grab the Friday before TG.

Good luck! Let us know how things work out!

Thanks! I ended up grabbing the first night we are there (Sunday) and the last two nights (Thurs/Fri). Now let's hope no one wants a 2 bedroom at HHI for a Monday through Wednesday night
