Does the CA/Disneyland crowd do LGMHs? Mine has seen better days...Should I bother making it spiffy again????

LGMH = Lime Green Mickey Head. Home Depot used to have Disney paint chips in the shape of Mickey heads and although I'm not sure how it got started, DIS people started using the lime green color chip (I think it was Alien Green) on their bags to designate a fellow DISer.

nblake05, I always have mine on my bag but I have never run into someone else who has a LGMH. I always hope that on my next trip, I will run into a fellow DISer with a LGMH.

I don't have a LGMH but I've kept my eyes open for them on our last few trips and only spied one glimpsed on a backpack through the crowd on Main Street. Didn't even get a good look at it before it was lost in the herd (after a parade).

Since Behr hasn't made them for Home Depot to carry for at least a year (but I think it's 2), they are going the way of the dodo. Kinda sad, but I only ever had one sighting of them in all my visits to DLR.

I still wear my mine. On my last trip, I happened to end up behind a guy from the WDW side of the boards in the FP line for RSR. Now that Home Depot doesn't have them, you can print them out yourself. I don't remember if it was on this board, or the DLR community board, but someone posted a template for them. If you do a search you may find them. I added my screen name to one and the disboards logo to another and stuck them back to back.

I found the thread in the WDW section--Sorry, I don't know how to link, but the title of the thread is "Lime Green Mickey Heads?", and was started on 05-02-2012. Hope that helps. I would love to catch sight of one of these at Disneyland!

Here is a link to the pattern: http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=...7&postcount=45

I opened it in Photoshop and wrote on them there. Then I printed, mounted them on card stock, and covered with mailing tape.

Thank you so much!

I really appreciate it and love the idea of covering them with mailing tape.

Yeah, it's my cheap version of laminating.

Before moving from Boston to CALI (5 years ago) I saw them in WDW often.

Since being a regular at DL/DCA I can honestly say I never ever see them here at all.

I actually had forgotten about them.
