No sea days and shops

I have never been on a DCL cruise without a sea day. The May Miami 4 day does not have a single sea day; do the shops open late as soon as ship leaves port, or (not likely) not at all?

They will be open once the leave port that night until their normal closing time. Hope that helps. Me and hubby did our shopping after left port in Nassau.

I thought the opening had to do with leaving the territorial waters of the various ports, so about 12 miles from land...or some set time that would coincide with being out that far.

Could be wrong though.

I found it difficult to fit in time to shop on our 3 night -- along with everything else we wanted to do.

Yes there is very little time to shop. We hit the shops after the shows. DH went to both shops I skipped the more expensive one. We had time to see what was in the one shop however it was crowded. I bought the tervus cups and DH and the kids bought pins. Since the cruise we have wished that we bought a few other things but there really was not the time. Disney has missed a bet by not keeping the stores open later at night on this cruise.
