Quickest way to WDW?

We will be getting off of the Dream on Halloween and are thinking we should spend that day at WDW as well as the following day, leaving the day before we fly home to relax. How fast can we get off of the ship and if we have a service pick us up, how fast can we make it to WDW? I hate to waste the EMH there but the prediction for crowd level is low that day so feel it would be a great day for the MK. Thank you!

You may leave the ship as soon as you hear the announcement indicating the ship has cleared customs. That's usually around 7:30AM, give or take a little!

It will be approximately an hour's drive to WDW from the port.

Have fun.

Do it, you will have plenty of time. We did off of a Carnival in March, and it was by far the most redeeming part of the trip. We had a leisurely breakfast and didn't get done with customs until 9:30, but it takes about an hr to get from PC to Disney. it took us 30 min to get our will call tickets (because a business contact had called them in for us as a favor and they were just tricky to find at first) but the Disney ticket staff was AMAZING. They even gave us a freebie voucher as a fastpass to use anywhere at anytime for anything (Soarin' of course) because we spent 30 min in line trying to find the tickets, which wasn't their fault.
But rambling aside, with their RFID tickets now, you can just wave them and scan, and you don't have to wait for the paper ticket line and we raced into all the parks that day with them. We may not have gotten started until 11a (and I'm sure you can do better than that if you planned it better than we did, we weren't even sure we were going to go to the parks that day until we got there) and we still did all 4 parks and even back to EPCOT again that evening for Illuminations and dinner. (So 5 parks!) all before midnight.

So yeah if you leave at 7:30, with your bag of quarters!!!!! you will thank me, toll after toll after toll (done PC cruises twice now in Mar & Apr so I know what I mean) and make sure your car is gassed up if you are parking because there is one gas station between Orlando and PC (would make a great investment to put up another one! man we were just praying we would make it to it...) anyway if you leave at 7:30, you will be at the parks at 8:30 and can get your tickets (if you don't have already) get to the park before 9 and be ready to open it up.

It's definitely totally doable. And a great, great way to chase away the "boo, now we have to leave the ship!' blues...
