Satellite Falls radar dome "radome" safety

I emailed DCL about whether the big white globe-thing at Satellite Falls on the Fantasy is an actual functioning "radome". I was hoping we weren't being exposed to microwave radiation etc as we relaxed there. DCL initially had to research the question... but I finally did get a reply and I thought I'd share it with all of you. Here' is DCL's email:

Thank you for your patience while we researched your request. I would be happy to assist you. As you know, the Satellite Sun Deck area is a great place for adults 18 years and older to soak up the sun. The dome over Satellite Falls houses the antenna for our onboard television system and only receives signals. Satellite systems that transmit signals are positioned in areas to allow for their safe operation. I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further assistance with any other inquiries, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for inquiring, and reporting back.
We should all feel safer knowing it is the TV dish above the falls.

But what's in the other two smaller ones?
I'll stay near the large one.

Wonder how much microwave radiation the WAVE phones that everyone has in their pockets on board put out.

Just more communication systems. The actual radar antennas have to be up high away from the structural steel of the vessel.

You can feel quite safe!
