I have heard multiple people about taking a shower in the changing room but i also have read several responces on different threads that naked people in the changing room is scary and disgusting... I don't want to offend people so would like to know what the policy is here...

Thanks
In the coed areas you should wear a suit or risk being a topic of discussion here when you get home .

In the single sex lockers rooms its ludicrous for anyone to suggest nudity is inappropriate. We are not in 7th grade, and should all be long past the point of trying to change our clothes without showing any skin. Change away. I also agree with the PP that lingering in the stall to change when others are waiting to shower is a bit inconsiderate.

Thanks for the reply oklamomof4boys and orenni!!!!

This information helped so much.

It's exactly how i thought it was and also how i always did it.
But since the last time i cruised i noticed some remarks about people being naked inside the
Locker rooms....
And that made me insecure about if i was doing something wrong.
Glad to hear that i didn't :-)

Thanks again!!!!

What time do the locker rooms open? Are they open at 6am with the fitness center?

Right? It's a changing room. How do you change your clothes without getting naked?

Do these people ever go to gyms? I am not sure how you are suppose to change in a locker room, but if a naked body bothers you then the solution is not to go to locker rooms, not to whine on message boards.

If the fitness center opens at 6:00 a.m., the locker rooms will open at the same time.

Last month on the Fantasy I used the shower a couple of times before dinner when the whole family was getting ready at the same time. I just brought my razor and my own shampoo (picky) and then wore the robe back to my room. Easy peasy. One time all three showers were full and I waited a bit.
They have q-tips, lotion and hair dryers on the counter in front of a long mirror if you'd like to stay and blow dry there.

While the 'naked" doesn't bother me...

The "bathroom down the hall" concept does. I did that in college. I am too old to go back LOL!

Are the showers adult only? Would my dd17 be allowed to use one or no?

There is no teen spa on the Magic class ships.

FYI- The Dream and the Fantasy have little curtained section before the actual individual shower so you can bring a robe in w/ you and change in the little area in front of your shower.
The Magic and Wonder do not have that. You have nowhere to put a towel or robe outside of the actual shower. You open up your curtain and the wall where all the robes are towels are stored are right in front of you.
Last week I took a chance and darted out to grab a robe. I would have been so embarrassed if anyone saw me.

I don't remember the teen area having its own shower. It was just a group of rooms within the spa.

I discovered the spa/gym shower idea when cruising with my mom and my daughter...three women using one bathroom to get ready just doesn't work! Never crowded, big showers, just perfect.

Also, as for the Rainforest Room being co-ed and swimsuit required...well...last month in the Persian Garden on Celebrity Silhouette, this one guy apparently didn't get the "memo". I was laying on a heated tile lounger reading a book and staring at the ocean, then had to try not to stare when an absolutely smokin' hot guy decided to avail himself of the showers naked. WOW!

It rarely happens that way, those are not usually the specimens you get to see on nude beaches or co-ed anything!
