Adult Meal for 10 year old?

Hi Guys!

We are taking a family trip this summer that includes the DDP. We are now 3 adults and two kids due to my DD turning ten.

I was wondering if we have to use 5 table service meals every time we eat sit down? Meaning could we order 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals? 3 adult dinners and 2 kids meals is just too much food!
(Not that I couldn't eat it if I had to!)

TIA!

If you are at a buffet, yes you have to use as many credits as there are people. At other table service restaurants you do not. You can order as much or as little food as you want. Disney does not mind sharing food at non-buffets.
