Adding a day to your ticket?

We are trying to decide if we should get a 2 or 3-day ticket. Our flight out of LAX is at 6:50pm so we figure we would need to leave DL around 3pm or so. That would give us 6-7 hours at the park.

If we buy a 2-day ticket can we add on the third day at the lower price when we get to the park? Or would we need a full day ticket?

Grand events should not go unnoticed
That's the Disney master plan!
For a carnivore, it was very good indeed

Yes you can add a day at the ticket booths. The price you'll pay will be the full on-site price of the 3 day ticket minus whatever you paid for your 2 day ticket.

Yes, what he said. And yes, add the day. 2 days is not enough to see everything. We always go on our last day, even if it's only for a few hours (we drive, so we always end up pushing back our leave time, lol). For us, we always just want that one last Disney hit before we head home.

I have a similar question, we only have two full days(mon/tues) deciding if we want a hopper(thinking kids might want to see world of color more than once)... can we start at one park...and then if we decide that we want to go over to the other ... add the hopper that day????(so say, midday monday we decide to hop, can we add it??) tks

Yes, you can add hopping later. As for the OP's question, I would wonder how much are you are leaning towards adding the 3rd day. If it is quite likely, I would consider buying the 3 day to start out with so you can also have an early entry. That extra hour at DL can be awsome!
