Maybe she just doesn't realize what's up. If she thinks the cat was yours she was probably just thinking "well her cat poops in my yard". She may just be two fries short of a happy meal. Letting her know the cat isn't yours might clear things up.

Also keep in mind I guarantee the cat is pooping in your yard too. If you do decide to fling poo make sure you aren't flinging some other offending animals poo.

Just to put it in perspective I have my own personal animal struggle. The people next door to me have an "animal rescue". They current have probably 50 dogs that bark and stink all hours of the day. There was litigation by the city and they came to the agreement the man has 5 years to dwindle down the animals to just 3. Five years!!! Count yourself lucky.

This thread is cracking me up! The people who live across from my mom let the dog out without a leash, and we get poo in the yard. They also always pile up a ton of trash on the curb....maybe we should put it in their lovely truck!

Our neighbors across the road have free range dogs. We don't have the best relationship with them since one of their dogs bit our DD a few years ago. In no uncertain terms it was surrender the dog to animal control or the next time the dog is on our property will be the last time you see the dog. The dog had terrorized the kids long enough and he had been spoken to by us and animal control and still let the dog roam.

Anyway, their labs like to poop in our yard. Their piles of poop are bigger than our dog! My husband has started taking the shovel and returning the poop to the owner. It is quite funny actually when they see all the poop back in their yard. Our dog goes out on her leash with one of us because of these big dogs, so we know where her poop is!

Since we're talking poop... I live on the main road in my neighborhood and for months now I can come out and find a bag full of poop in my yard. If its not my yard then its a few other neighbors on the same road. I have left it there for days only to have another one show up a few days later to join the original bag. So my neighbors and I are some dog"s personal poop purgers! Weird

i hate cats, and I hate that they can roam freely and nothing can be done about it, I can't let my dogs roam freely......my neighbor has several outside cats, they walk all over my car, annoy my dogs - I think they need to be inside or put down.

We've been poo flingers too! We used to have a neighbor who let his dogs poop in our yard. DH talked to him about it and he'd swear it wasn't his dogs (even though we looked out the window several times and saw his dogs taking care of business in our yard).

So, DH & I shoveled it up and flung it onto the neighbor's front walk - just at the bottom of his stairs. Never had a problem after that.

I've asked her several times to come pick up after her dog and she always denies its him. I have knocked on her door so she can SEE him pooping. And then she just says oh sorry and comes to clean it. But the rest of the time it is supposedly some other dog? RIGHT. Anyway. I have a strong desire to fling poo at her home. Her dog left presents all over the lawn. ANd no one else lets their dog run wild around here, just this moron. As for the cat in question, he lives across the street. Nice friendly little guy, sleeps on my porch sometimes. No problems there.

I am pretty tired from working all night, so I am going to sleep on it.
NO,no, you want to keep things neat. Go out there and pick up the poop and put it in a paper bag. Put some paper in there so it doesn't fall thru the bag. Gently put the bag on her porch. Hopefully the porch is cement and uncovered. Ring the door bell and run like crazy. However light the bag first.

Just kidding, don't do it.
