Timing for CRT dinner on MNSSHP

Hi All,

So sadly I didn't get a BOG reservation for our MNSSHP party day (fingers crossed it's that day!!) but I did get a Cinderella's Royal Table one.
Don't think the hubs will be that impressed with princesses but think he will LOVE eating in the castle.

I selected 5:20pm so that we could get in around 4pm, hopefully ride the Haunted Mansion and then head over to dinner and be ready for the 7pm party start.
Does this sound feasible? Would like to be back on mainstreet for about 6:45 or 6:50pm. Will that rush dinner?

There is still availability for 4:25pm but that wouldnt allow anytime to get anything done beforehand.

Thoughts would be appreciated.....

Is there any reason why you want to be on MSUSA @ 6:45? Personally, I would go with the 4:25 ADR. This way there is no rush and you can start the party from deeper in the park. Plus, if you are looking to do the special PhotoPass pictures, they don't start doing it until the party and they look a lot better when it is dark out.

If you want to see the Seven Dwarves, the line starts forming at 5:30ish and by the time the party officially starts the line is well over an hour long. When we did the party a couple of years ago we went to The Plaza for a 4:30 ADR. We were in and out by 5, at which point we headed over to the Dwarves area and were already 8th on line. When we were done with our picture, the line stretched all the way to BTMRR (the Dwarves are where Woody and Jessie meet durring the day over by Splash Mountain).

Just the one reason - pin purchasing! My other half is a collector and at the party last year, we went to the shop on main street selling the special party pins and there were already a few people in line. I think at 6:50pm we got in the queue and were about 4th or 5th. So I'm thinking he'll want to head over there to purchase a couple before we carry on with the party.

Unless there is another location in the park that sells them?!

We allow 60-90 minutes for CRT and usually out within an hour. You should finish up with CRT by 6:30pm-6:40pm. Ask for the bill once you're settled at your table. It's a set price and this way you won't have to wait to settle the bill at the end of the meal (we have waited 15 minutes to get the bill)

As a PP already posted, if you want to get in line for some of the rare characters, these lines start by 5:30pm - 6pm.

Personally, I'd go for the 4:25pm reservation. You'll be done with CRT by 5:30 - 5:45pm and then head across to Haunted Mansion. Rides are really quite on party days, even between 4pm - 7pm. Most people are either eating, lining up for the party characters or meeting characters that meet usually at MK.

Last year the party specific pins were also available at the pin shop in Frontierland and one of the stores in Liberty Square. On the party guide that you'll pick up when you get your wristband there's a list on one of the pages that lists the stores where party specific merchandise will be available. I can't remember if all the places listed carried the pins.

Even if you do the HM before the party it's well worth going back during the party itself to see the Southern Belle outside. Also, it's the one attraction where the CMs really add to their costuming/make up for the party.

I would choose the 4:25 CRT reservation and have enough time to enjoy dinner without having to keep checking my watch to see if I'll be out in time.
